Downtown Tiny Treehouse, incredible view!

Our tiny "Treehouse" is for someone (or couple) with a fun, youthful spirit, who is full of adventure and looking for a unique stay and experience, right at the heart of downtown Pocatello.

The "Treehouse" is a penthouse on the "North Building," a historic, renovated apartment building built in 1916 and offers an incredible 360 view over the valley and Historic Downtown Pocatello. Currently they are building a new park around our building, thereby giving direct access to all downtown events.

The "Treehouse" has a warm feel to it with bright colors, paintings of flowers and insects throughout (it will bring out your inner child!). It has all the necessities, in one cozy space.

Guests can use the building laundromat in the basement of the building. to access this use the back entrance basement entrance.

The roof does not have access (yet). The door is locked for safety reasons.

I don't live on the property but I do live in town, if there's any need I can be available. The check-in is fully hands-off and we respect the full privacy of our guests.

Historic Downtown Pocatello

Our building is surrounded by Lookout Point under construction (2022) for Downtown Pocatello which will host the Farmers Market, Revive at Five and many more events (starting spring 2023)

Our tiny treehouse is located on top of the North Building right at the heart of the Historic Downtown Pocatello. There are several micro breweries, restaurants and coffee shops and many stores in walking distance.

Our building has a parking space right across the street (behind Mocatello, drive-try coffee shop) and the PRT Bus stops right up front of the old UP Train station (greyhound building, unfortunately the greyhound doesn't stop here anymore since years)

There are many STAIRS! yes, it's on the 3rd floor without an elevator. the bathroom is on the level where you enter the space, the main room/bed and studio are on top. Nightly bathroom visits will require you to go downstairs within your private space.
No access to the roof is permitted at this time.
Tempering with the security system of the building results in an immediate cancellation without a refund.

The host was very active and communicated quickly when we had questions. The instructions for the room was clear and easy to follow. The AC was on and the room was comfortable when we arrived. We had everything we needed to stay the night. There were plenty of local shops and restaurants at walking distance to keep us busy for a morning or afternoon. It was an interesting concept of having the room on the roof and worth giving a try. Be aware that there are lots of stairs.

First off, anytime a host can accommodate a late check out it’s a huge win. Denis was very responsive to messages the entire time as well. The unit and location were perfect. I didn’t mind walking up/down the steps to the bathroom but some might late at night. Luckily it is a private bathroom just inside the door to the unit. The morning sunrise and evening sunset were beautiful from the rooftop view. I also had ideal weather while I was in town. There were planets of shops, restaurants and antique malls within walking distance. I’ll definitely be staying here when I visit again next year.

The room is very cute and the views are fantastic and the bed is comfortable. The host failed to send me check-in information, though. I tried to contact him twice with no response, and eventually VRBO had to contact him (and were on the verge of just looking for another place for me). I finally got the codes--with no explanation of the delay--at 5:45. (Check in was 5.) I'm in town for a professional event, and my host from the university had to wait the extra hour to see if I had housing. 5 p.m. is already a late check in, and ghosting guests about check in is super unprofessional.

Everything was perfect. Great location. Amazing views. Be prepared for some steps to get up to the roof top tiny home. AC worked great even on some pretty hot days. The bathroom area was almost too cold at times. Very nice mural paintings on the walls. The host communicated promptly when the battery key pad the door lock ran out. It was being addressed before I knew about the issue and was resolved very promptly.

Perfect for exploring Pocatello

I had a few days off from a nearby temp job and was curious to explore Pocatello on a budget. This place fit my needs better than a conventional hotel room and it was about the same price. The building the unit is in is old in a classy, cool, fun way. I so desperately wanted someone to invite me to tour their apartment! The treehouse is its own thing perched above the rest. It's very private and quiet with great views and fun art. Every detail feels well considered. It is a lot of stairs with a steep climb down to the classy private bathroom. A thing I was apprehensive about upon booking is I didn't see any blinds on the many windows and I thought I might feel on display. There are blinds, like the nice unobtrusive ones. The space felt like a fun vacation treat of a getaway, and historic downtown Pocatello is just outside. It's a really fun spot if you're feeling like poking around. Lots of neat local businesses to check out and lots of cool old buildings and more murals and art. I've never been to Pocatello, and this experience really sold me on the place.
