We had a great stay here! Staff were very helpful and the location was excellent. The best hotel around this area for sure! It’s been a really comfortable location to return to throughout the day while wandering the lakeside area. Highly recommend!

Elegant hotel in the heart of Pokhara. The are is mostly budget accommodation but this is the best the area has to walk. Minutes walk from the Main Street with all the shops, bars etc

The staff are friendly and very hospitable. They listened to our request and did their best to fulfill it sincerely. The view from the hotel room balcony was amazing. We manage to wake up early and saw a few icey mountain peaks. Its walking distance to the main street where the shops are located and to Phewa Lake. We enjoyed our morning stroll along the lake and the street shopping in the evening. Many taxis are available within walking distance from Hotel Barahi. The hotel breakfast is good. They served a variety of local and international food. The F&B team was alert to anticipate our request such as clearing of plates, refilling our drinks, serving our food etc. The room is newly refurbished and has a modern ambience. The a/c was functioning well, the bed was comfortable and clean, we had a good night sleep. Overall, to me and my wife, it was money worth spending in this hotel. Will book again if return to Pokhara

Great stay at hotel barahi. Staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Provided transportation from the airport. Our room was updated and clean. The air conditioning was powerful and worked well on a hot day. The pool was the best part of the resort. The pool was clean and the temperature was refreshing. Overall we had a great stay.

The staff was very friendly and very helpfull. The reception employee named Pooja was wonderfull, Driver Ganesh very good and Traveldesk manager Dilip Pant was great

Okay option, may investigate other options.
I stayed at Hotel Barahi on business. Upon my arrival at 3 pm they said that my room wasn’t ready but they could upgrade me! Great! But, unlike every other hotel I’ve stayed in, they said that I would then have to move rooms the next day. Because I was there for work, I didn’t want the inconvenience of having to pack all my things back up the next day, so I told them I’d rather wait for my room the be ready so I could stay in it for the 3 nights I was there. Eventually, they let me just get into the upgraded room and stay there. For business purposes, the WiFi was very bad. For personal purposes, I was surprised that there wasn’t a toilet paper holder? So all of the toilet paper is kept under the sink, out of reach, when you need it. Finally, because I had meetings the whole day, it was recommended that I order a lunch for takeaway. I did. I don’t believe that the sandwich I ended up getting was the right thing + it was ungodly expensive for what it was. It’s not that I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, but I may see if there are other hotels in the area before I would stay here again.

I really mean it and I am so sorry that we could not make your experience great unfortunately; you took not good memories as take away. Your feedback regarding the “Toilet paper roll, Wi-Fi, Take away lunch box” have been noted carefully. In fact we have come up with immediate action plan within 24 hours by changing the location of toilet paper roll in room to ensure it is visible, called for meeting with Wi-Fi provider to improve connectivity and brief team how to be more organized and planned regarding your wrong packed lunch Box received. I believe by all this action I can surely ensure these problems will not come again to any of our guest. Great hptel to stay
The room was not clean enough and there was no shower curtain in the bathroom but the staff were the most professional of any hotel i have been in Nepal. I have stayed three times now and the service and friendliness of tje staff always sticks in my mind. We will be back.

Easy access to the lake and great location.
Rita the woman in guest relations was fabulous. She was there to answer our every need! Be sure to request a room with a view of the mountains.

Really nice stay. The hotel is in a great location with a short walk to nearby restaurants and the lake. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They made us a packed breakfast on our day of departure as we had a very early start. Only negative was the Wi-Fi needs improvement.

Okay but overpriced
The hotel seems nice at first but the overall cleanliness level, noisiness reduce its appeal. The pool had flies in it and bathrooms were old and dirty. The room was spacious but old. The hotel is overpriced for its value.

Wellness Hotel, Installation are bit old
We stayed two nights in pokhara in Hotel Barahi, we found the Location was very good, near a lot of Restaurants and Shops. The Hotel looks nice and Rooms are big and clean, shower and Bad were big enough. The room are little old but so are most of the rooms in pokhara. Breakfast was very good. So in conclusion I can recommended prices are bit expensive in comparison with other Hotels but it is comfortable and WiFi is quite good.

Staff at check in and out rude !
Staff at front desk were painfull to work with. The breakfast was lacking fresh fruit and fresh bread. ( Omeletttes were he exception good ) Dinner menu shows many items that aren't available . I called from airport on arrival asking for help with transportation ; they hung up ! When I made it to hotel; I asked about the phone call ; and they just laughed ! Front assured me that my sunrise trip was booked , just show up at 5am ; next morning at 4:45 I arrive to find out nobody had done anything ; I had nothing booked or arranged. And No Trip ! At check out after I asked about the total on invoice; the person became belligerent . I said nothing else and waited for a taxi to get me out of the place .

A few days break
We enjoyed four days at the Barahi. This was our third visit. We like using the pool and have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It is handy to Lakeside and we have enjoyed our three visits very much.

Good location, stayed 4nights clean tidy rooms,nice pool, staff on arrival was ok, staff on departure and once when we went to ask for info of the local area was abit rude. On site restaurant abit pricey never really looked busy, neither was the cultural show, you can see similar cultural shows for free in other restaurants close by. best to head out elsewhere for food and drinks, some nice places close by
