The Doggone Lake House 2

Sit, stay, and relax at the pet-friendly Doggone Lake House 2, just steps away from the a private launch ramp on Cataract (Cagles Mill) Lake.
Bring your fishing boat or pontoon and enjoy all lake life has to offer.

We are just minutes from Poland, Cloverdale, and Greencastle, a 30 minute drive from the covered bridge festivals, and great hunting spots abound nearby.
Relax after your day of adventuring by the fire pit, lounge on our huge cement patio, or just kicked back in the arm chairs watching your favorite Netflix.

This adorable and spacious stick-built home was just built in 2020 and has an open-concept living room and kitchen, three generous bedrooms, and two full baths.
While not quite waterfront, we are the last house before the lake and we enjoy lake views six months out of the year (end of fall through beginning of spring).

This is our vacation spot too so you will find it stocked with plenty of high-quality bed linens, cooking equipment, and towels for the whole family (even the doggos!).

And speaking of doggos, we accept all kinds (please only two per stay though) as well as cats! Our back yard is fully fenced for everyone's enjoyment.
Please add your pets as guests during booking to include the $49 per stay fee.

The master and largest bedroom have queen beds while the smaller bedroom has a full size bed. A Queen size blow up mattress is available upon request.

We have a big TV in the living room and all rooms have their own TVs as well. There is no cable service however so please be prepared to stream service from your own accounts.

You will have access to the entire house (the small shed outside is locked). As this is our vacation home too and we do use it regularly year-round, you may find some of our personal effects here and there. Please be respectful of them and do not use or take.

We are local hosts living about 15 minuets away. You will find a complete house manual on the kitchen island upon check in with our personal cell phone numbers in case you need immediate assistance with anything during your stay.


***BOATERS: Please check conditions prior to booking as Cataract has many shallow spots during the winter which make parts unusable, including the private launch ramp at the end our our road. You can launch at the public ramp at nearby Cunot year round, however.
