Charmant herenhuis in het hart van de oude binnenstad van Pollenca

Goed gepresenteerd royaal herenhuis gelegen in het hart van de charmante oude binnenstad met zijn 'histroric smalle straatjes. Can Ramon biedt uitstekende accommodatie met vier slaapkamers, buitenterrassen om te dineren en te zonnebaden, zwembad (meet 2. 3 m breed x 6 m lang
diepte van 1. 3 op de trappen tot een maximum van 1. 65 m), bbq en buitenkeuken. Bovendien heeft het pand het voordeel van een garage voor een auto en fietsen en een parkeerplaats, een belangrijk pluspunt in de oude stad.

Op de begane grond bestaat de woning uit: - hal en eetkamer, woonkamer met open haard, die leidt naar een keuken met overdekte eethoek en verdere terrassen binnentuin en zwembad. Er is een kamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden op de begane grond, met een doucheruimte naast de bijkeuken (compleet met Miele-wasmachine), toegankelijk via het buitenterras. De trap leidt vanuit de woonkamer naar de overloop op de eerste verdieping van waaruit drie slaapkamers worden betreden. Een kingsize hemelbed, een extra kingsize tweepersoonskamer en een kingsize of tweepersoonskamer. Alle slaapkamers en de woonkamer zijn voorzien van airconditioning. Er is een groot huis badkamer met wc., Wastafel, bidet, bad met douche en veel opbergruimte. Ook toegankelijk vanaf de eerste verdieping is een bovenste zonneterras met banken om te ontspannen en te genieten van het ononderbroken uitzicht op het klooster op de top van de heuvel.

Buiten zijn er patio's met planten en ligbedden rond het zwembad, tal van zit- en eetplekken in de schaduw of in de zon. De woning is een doorgaande woning en is toegankelijk vanuit twee straten. Binnen twee minuten lopen bent u op Place Major, het centrum van de oude stad, waar de beroemde zondagmarkt wordt gehouden en alle feesten en activiteiten plaatsvinden. Het is ook het belangrijkste gebied om de goede lokale restaurants en bars te vinden, afgewisseld met ambachtelijke winkels. Vanuit de oude stad duurt een reis naar de mooie stranden van Puerto Pollenca 10 minuten (ongeveer 7 km). Hier zijn er tal van strandactiviteiten, zoals windsurfen, kajakken, jetski's huren, boten met glazen bodem en vissersboten.

Can Ramon ligt op een ideale locatie, een oase dicht bij het centrum van Pollenca, ideaal voor een familie of een groep vrienden die willen genieten van de lokale geschiedenis, restaurants, winkels en het prachtige landschap, terwijl ze in het hart van dit prachtige en rustige leven wonen historische stad die bezoekers zoveel te bieden heeft.

Prachtig verblijf

I’m sorely tempted to give this a bad review to keep this house a secret! It’s an absolutely lovely house - the best we’ve stayed in. Perfect situation, twominutes away from the main square. It’s right next to a really nice pizza restaurant but they close at 11 ish so the noise doesn’t bother at all. And in any case the two main bedrooms look out over the front of the house - a super quiet little street. The garage is a total bonus ( it’s so hard to park in pollensa). Brilliantly equipped, beautifully decorated and super comfortable beds. Outside space far more generous than is common for pollensa town houses with a decent sized pool. Just a total winner. We’d move in tomorrow, but failing that, would love to come back.

The house is a lovely size - there were 5 of us and we had plenty of space inside and outside. The pool is much bigger than we expected and was used a lot. It was great to have the garage - we hired a large car which did fit in the garage with some careful manovures.Lovely towels, pool towels and linen. The house was clean and tidy with much welcome air con and ceiling fans, but it is a little tired in places. The location is perfect with lots of fabulous restaurants within a few minutes walk. We did have issues with electricity and running water for the first few days and the property management company (who are English speaking) were very easy to contact and resolved problems.

A rare find

The location is fabulous, a two minute walk to the heart of Pollensa which is one of the best locations on the island, full of old world charm and fabulous restaurants. The townhouse is even better than the pictures and the outside space provides a perfect oasis to ride out the hot days. The hosts were wonderful and I cannot recommend this place enough. One tip - do follow Andrea's very, very clear instructions on how to arrive at the rear of the property - ignoring these in favour of sat-nav led to a very tense 20minute drive in a big car down a very small road at the front.

Only disappointment was the fact that the sun only makes it into the courtyard and pool area between about 11am and 4pm due to the adjacent high buildings. I guess not surprising due to its central location.

Excellent stay

Myself, my husband and daughter had a wonderful stay in Pollenca. The villa in the centre was lovely. The welcome pack was the best we have ever had. The villa was lovely spacious and just what we wanted for a holiday. The outside area was nice, with the pool and outside areas. The only slight down side was the sun was only in the court yard from about 10 o’clock till 2/3 o’clock. But that was a small price to pay to stay in the centre of Pollenca in a lovely villa. Instructions how to get to the villa were perfect and the garage was a bid bonus. Thanks for a lovely stay. Pauline

Superior outdoor space

I agree with previous reviews that the interior of the property is tired and in need of renovation/decoration. This is particularly the case in relation to the kitchen and bathroom. However, the outside space is great and that was why we booked the house. Our dealings with the host were fine

Amazing location

We are a family of 5 and we absolutely loved the location and outside space of this property. The beds had beautiful linens and were very comfortable and spacious rooms although we didn’t use downstairs soldiers room. The ground floor is quite dark as it is a typical Spanish property which meant it stayed cool. The kitchen and bathroom were a little tired but the location more than made up for this. I would recommend this property to families with older children in particular.

Lovely home in heart of Pollença

This home was perfect for our family of five. It was a great launching point every day for our adventures to the beach or the mountains or other nearby towns. The garage was perfect so we always had a place to park when we came home. The pool was an amazing bonus. Would gladly stay here again.

A little oasis in the heart of Pollenca

The property was exactly what we were looking for & perfect for our stay. It’s a little oasis in the heart of Pollenca & is exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed making use of the great out settings for breakfast, lunch and dinner & the pool was a perfect spot to cool off. The location was just a short walk to the Plaça Major, which was really convenient & there was also a great restaurant just next door. Andrea was great to deal with, provided great information and was always quick to respond to any queries we had. We would definitely look at staying here again if we returned to Pollenca & have already recommended the property to some friends and family.

Oasis of calm in perfect location

We had a great stay at Can Ramon. The house and garden are really quite special and although a little tired (bathroom and kitchen in particular) it has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated with some nice touches and we really enjoyed the pool and the garden and terraces. Location is fantastic - to be so close to the central square and have a parking space is great. We loved exploring the town and had some very nice meals out, including the restaurant just next door! We really appreciated the welcome food and drink package, especially as we arrived late. As others have mentioned, it would have been nice to have a bit more information in the property about the local area and waste disposal etc. Things to be aware of: the stairs are very hard and rather steep so I would be a little nervous with very young children. There is only one bathroom upstairs for the three bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin), the other shower room is accessed from the garden. There is a fourth (twin) bedroom off the dining room downstairs. Be sure to access the property through the garage if coming by car as the street on the other side of the house is incredibly narrow! The charm and location mean we would definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in Pollensa.

Lovely oasis in a beautiful town

Can Ramon is lovely spacious town house with many lovely features in a perfect location in this historic town. It was blissful to wader the streets from such a holiday rental. Garden and pool were especially restful and like a little oasis. A little more or up to date information in the information folder would have been useful, especially about refuse and recycling. We had to store our bin stuff in the garage as we could not work out where it went which was a bit smelly in hot weather. This was a very minor thing though. We had a great stay.. thank you

Wonderful vacation and beautiful house

We have spent a wonderful time in this oasis of a beautiful house, exquisite outside terrasse and kitchen, as well as pool area. The house is situated in the center of Pollenca which provides the best situation for a vacation with both city life - walking round the idyllic city of Pollenca at all times of the day and still enjoying the tranquility of ones own private setting in the house, terrasse, and pool area. The house, decorations and furniature is very tasteful and provides the best basis for a relaxing and very nice time in the center of Pollenca. We definitely hope to come back again.

Lovely villa, fantastic location

We had a great holiday at the villa. It is very central just a very short walk to the main square, shops and restaurants but still very quiet. The outdoor space and pool is lovely and we spent a lot of time just relaxing by the pool. Would highly recommend!

Great location in the old city. Good directions to find property and a great grocery welcome pack. Very pretty outside areas with lemon trees. More information on the villa (how things work, where the recycling bins are etc.) and on the local area (restaurants, supermarkets etc.) would have been useful. Inside parts of the property are starting to look a little tired but issues raised with the propery management company were resolved promptly. The barbecue is quite old and we had to clean it before we could use it. There was only one shower in the mainhouse which was in the bath. The other two showers and toilets are in outside buildings near the pool which is probably OK when the weather is hot. There was however plenty of hot water.The pool only started to look attractive (clean and sparkling) as we were about to leave. Great Italian next door for when you don't want to go out but probably need to book. Overall a good base to explore the local area. We really enjoyed our stay but felt the property was a little overpriced.

Lovely Townhouse

a very nice, spacious, quiet, yet centrally located townhouse in the middle of Pollenca. The outside facilities are wonderful including a beautiful lemon tree and pool. The whole organisational process was absolutely smooth and pleasant. I felt very comfortable and can recommend the house to others.

Wunderschöner Urlaub im Herzen von Pollenca

Es waren sehr schöne Tage auf Mallorca mit viel Glück mit dem Wetter. Die Unterkunft ließ keine Wünsche offen, alles sehr sauber und in top Zustand. Bei Problemen wurde sofort geholfen. Die Außenanlagen waren super schön. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in Pollenca, alles ist super schnell zu erreichen. Ich kann das nur weiter empfehlen.

Beautiful central location in Pollensa

The location and outdoor spaces were the highlight of our stay. Having restaurants, shops etc on our doorstep was lovely. The pool was small but adequate and clean. The indoor space was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The wardrobe had mould, which unfortunately made clothes smell musty. The WiFi was patchy. Unfortunately the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay as the subscription needed renewing. We did inform the owner but got no response. It wasn’t a problem to us, we had only wanted to watch the Queens funeral that week, but it could have been a problem for others. There is limited information on the property and no recommendations of things to do in the area which would have been helpful.

Fantastic location, beautiful townhouse and courtyard

The location of this house is perfect, 2 mins stroll to the main square. The outdoor space is beautiful - the upstairs terrace is perfect for morning sun and the courtyard gets the sun in the afternoon. The pool is not heated - beware! Inside it is nicely furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The restaurant next door is lovely, and Pollenca market on Sunday a must.

Schöne Lage, schönes Haus, zu wenig Servicegedanke

Das Haus hat uns als Familie sehr gut gefallen. Begrüßt wurden wir mit einem schon gut gefülltem Kühlschrank für den Abend kommenden Morgen: Toast, Käse, Schinken, Eier, Butter, Milch, Bier, Wein und Oliven!! Leider hatten wir an 2 Tagen ab dem Nachmittag kein Wasser mehr im Haus…. auch nicht auf den Toiletten(!!!!!) Dusche, Spülmaschine…. Nach unserem ersten Hilferuf per E-Mail an die Vermieter kam am nächsten Mittag der Hausmeister und konnte alles wieder in Gang bringen. 1 Tag später nach dem Strandbesuch…..wieder kein Wasser…..bis zum nächsten Morgen als wir abgereist sind hatten wir weder eine persönliche Antwort vom Vermieter noch war der Hausmeister da….also über 12 Stunden kein Wasser!!!! Auch weiterhin kein persönlicher Kontakt vom Vermieter, was bei der Miethöhe schon echt frech ist…. Die Lage in der Stadt und das Haus an sich fanden wir trotzdem wirklich schön und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Schade, das wir dann „ungewaschen“ abreisen mussten….!!!

Lovely central location for family with older children

This is a classic Mallorcan townhouse, with plenty of communal space and 3 large double rooms with air conditioning. There are so many different seating areas if you want to spend the day at the house and the pool is an ideal size for adults or small children.
