VILLA VOLANTI - 10 MIN WALK TO THE OLD TOWN

Villa Volanti is a great Majorcan Villa in one of the best locations in Pollensa, at walking distance to the old historic town with bars, restaurants and shops. It has been made a great use of both local stone and rustic interior design to take profit of all modern facilities, all in a rustic style. A nice private pool and cozy BBQ area are one of the highlights of Villa Volanti. The house is surrounded by a wide lawn area and provides a comfort holiday accommodation next to Pollensa old town. Free WiFi in all the property is included.

The entry to the Villa is directly into the cozy dining area and lounge with comfortable sofas, fire place and flat-screen TV with international channels. From here there is an access to the rustic and fully equipped kitchen with all the modern facilities and equipment that you may require on your holiday. On the ground floor there is also one twin bedroom with pool views and another fully equipped bathroom.

From the dining room upstairs there are located all other bedrooms of this nice Villa. There are two bright and airy twin bedrooms on the right side with good dimensions and space. On this area there is also located one bathroom. At the left hand, there is one spacious double bedroom with pool and garden views and a private en-suite bathroom. Straight from the stairs, there is another airy and bright twin bedroom with views towards the Mediterranean garden.

All bedrooms include hot / cold air conditioning. To enhance your comfort, they are available to be used at any time during the day and night.

From the lounge doors open onto the pool area, with a large veranda with sofas area and long dining table. There is also a traditional Majorcan BBQ for enjoy great meals and grill events outside under the open sky ! Sunbathe in the garden area and enjoy the good weather here!

Villa Volanti is situated in the La Font area of Pollensa, with a mountain backdrop and the town in the front. From here you can walk to the center (10 min) at Pollença and in the evening participate of the variety of activities in town or visit the restaurants and bars that the town has to offer, there is a wide choice of restaurants - from local tapas to expensive fine dining restaurants. Pollença is steeped in History and this is evident everywhere you look. The Sunday market is especially colorful with local fruit and vegetables and nuts and spices.

Puerto Pollensa is an attractive resort with beautiful beach and offers everything you can need for your perfect holiday. The bay of Puerto Pollensa boasts a wide choice of water sports to choose from. During the daytime you can relax on the beach or for the more active you can hire a windsurfer, kayak, sailboat or go normal water-skiing or jet-biking.

In Cala Sant Vicenç (or just Cala as it is known to locals) there is a mini market, several small restaurants offering a variety of dining experiences and even a couple of bars. There are four little coves and two main beach areas. Cala Sant Vicenc has spectacular views and crystalline water. There is two large Supermarkets 10 min walk from the Villa, or 2 min drive.

The garden area was amazing, lovely pool, great location and good facilities. Only downsides were a couple of faulty items such as the iron annd ironing board - the former was replaced several days after reported but the ironing board was never replaced. Bathrooms were fairly good though the shower curtains were a bit mouldy. Bedrooms were nice except the downstairs bedroom which smelt very musty and needs redecorating. We really liked how close the villa was to Pollença and two big supermarkets. There are lots of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The pool was great and the welcome basket provided useful essentials to get us going. The villa was very private and felt safe. The management were friendly and responsive whenever I contacted them.

I'm going to 1st of all say what a fabulous time we had and how fantastic Owl Booking are. The communications were on point and they responded straight away to all my questions and I had many lol, not all to do with the property but they were fab in answering me immediately. Pros Location was fabulous 10-15 minute walk into town and famous restaurants. Villa was very clean Outside area amazing Pool fabulous kids loved it we were a party of 10 and we all were in it at certain points Table tennis was great fun The kids had hours of fun playing on the lawn area too it was a huge space. 2 supermarkets close by was a bonus. The brasserie at the top of the road was lovely and food was delicious 😋 Very quiet location and very private Cons- please note these did not spoil our holiday at all Kettle - took ages to boil - an electric one would be better for large groups. Knives need sharpening The Aircon is on timer and is only in bedrooms. We paid to have it on 24/7 but we still switched it off when we left the villa or when we were all outside. Its timed for 9pm- 8am which was great but 2pm-4pm in the afternoon so when we went in to change for the evening 5ish we were roasting. This was sorted so quickly though by owl booking 👌 Taxis- we used pollenca taxis and and at 1st they were fabulous once I gave them our GPS direction for the villa but unfortunately they let us down on a few occasions by only sending 1 taxi then forgetting the 2nd one or not turning up for over 2 hrs but as I say it didn't spoil our holiday. Furniture is a bit old and draws are a bit rickety and the toilet seat in twin bedroom with ensuite needs changing as it's so marked but all very clean. Not enough glasses and could do with some plastic ones for use outside 👍 Downstairs could benefit from aircon too as sitting waiting for everyone to get ready was really uncomfortable so we waited in our rooms. We did have problem with ants and we took our rubbish out daily but im sure the kids dropped crumbs etc so can't be helped. There were a few wasps as well but nothing major. Overall we had a fabulous time and would definitely return to Villa Volanti and would use Owl Booking for any future holidays without a shadow of a doubt so thank you to all the staff there and thank you to the owner for letting us holiday in your lovely villa 😊

Overall the villa was well positioned for Pollensa,hence why it was expensive, the villa is rural which was what we wanted. We felt it was quite tired looking in places and ineed of a bit of maintenance e.g. the pool and some of the bathrooms. We have had a lot nicer Villas in the past for less money, but I guess as I said the position makes it dearer. The agents at owl were always very helpful. Would any of us go again. Probably not.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen (6 Kinder, 4 Erwachsene) in der Villa. Zuerst das Positive: es ist sauber, es gibt ausreichend Platz und der Besitzer ist sehr nett und versuchte, wenn er informiert wurde immer zu helfen. Der Pool ist groß und wurde von unseren Kindern gern genutzt. Der Poolreinigungsservice, der Montags und Freitags kommen sollte, war während unserer zwei Wochen Aufenthalt nur einmal da. Aber egal.... Leider ließ sich das Grundstück nicht verschließen, was letztendlich auch zu den zwei Sternen führt. Nach einer Woche stellten wir fest, dass uns ein Laptop, zwei Portemonnaie und eine Spiegelreflexkamera fehlten. Dazu noch ein Rucksack, in dem das Ganze wahrscheinlich abtransportiert wurde. Es gab im ganzen Haus keine Einbruchsspuren, alle Turen und Fenster waren während unserer Abwesenheit fest verschlossen. Als wir das der Agentur meldeten, sagte man uns nur, dass für die Diebstähle keine Haftung übernommen wird. Die Formulierung lässt uns darauf schließen, dass dies nicht das erste Mal passiert ist. Soweit so gut, aber man hätte dann zu Beginn wenigstens einen Hinweis geben können, im Haus nichts herum liegen zu lassen... Das Internet funktionierte auch nur so, wie es Lust hatte und war sehr unzuverlässig. Der Fernseher hatte keine deutschen Kanäle, obwohl wir extra danach gefragt hatten und uns das zugesichert wurden war. bei Regen mit sechs Kindern weniger schön... Der Strom fiel oft aus. Der Kühlschrank war kaputt. Bei Meldung an die Agentur wurde uns gesagt, wir sollen den zweiten Kühlschrank nutzen. Leider hatte dieser keinen Strom, was wir der Agentur auch gemeldet hatten.... Also alles in allem war das Haus und das Grundstück sehr schön und gepflegt. Es ist alles liebevoll eingerichtet, man kann sich wohlfühlen. Wenn die Betreuung durch eine andere Agentur erfolgen würde, würden wir es weiterempfehlen. Aber diese .... nie wieder!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Volanti. 4 generations were there (7 adults,3 children), and we found it to be roomy and comfortable for all. It was just a short walk to the town centre and all it has to offer, and a short drive to the beach. There were pool towels and chairs provided, and patio furniture under the shade of the patio roof. The area on the right side of pool has permanently placed rocks, making it hard to walk on at times, and also very slippery when wet. Nice conveniences were the clothes washer, dish washer, portable drying rack, and plenty of dishes etc. for large groups.
