'Lovely comfortable B&B with a very friendly owner. Our bedroom was perfect...comfortable bed, large clean seperate bathroom with a roll top bath overlooking the garden & countryside beyond. We had fresh milk for drinks, kept in a mini fridge & a wide variety of drink choices. We enjoyed chatting with Martin, one of the owners. Parking is on the roadside...plenty available. The town is easy enough to walk, but there is also plenty of parking available in Castle Cary, the interesting local town.'

'We arrived at Hawk house and were greeted by a laminated sign that explained how to check in. We called the number, but there was no response. We called the bell (several times) and eventually a young lady came to check us in. She showed us to our room and was helpful. The room was a twin room (we had booked a double). The bed linens had stains, and the windows was open. When we attempted to close the windows, it did not (it was almost like it had dropped). There was a hole in the wall by one of...

'It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay.'
