Boven mij was de kamer ook geboekt maar geen last gehad van lawaai, erg rustige ligging.S’avonds gegeten in het hotel en de maaltijden waren uitstekend. Geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijtbuffet door vroege excursies maar een kopje koffie was gratis. Ontzettend aardig én hulpvaardig personeel! 'I have very mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, the location is beautiful, close to the ocean, with a pool on site and plenty of parking for rental cars. On the other hand, there were several important issues that significantly affected the comfort of our stay. Nowhere in the listing was it clearly stated that the condominium does not have air conditioning. We had to manage by creating cross ventilation, which meant keeping the patio doors and the front door open most of the time....

'Kitchen was fully equipped with all of the essentials, including spices and other supplies. You can watch the sunset direct from your balcony. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Beach chairs, boogie board and beach cooler were all included for use. Beach towels and bath towels included as well. Pool was nice, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. Would highly recommend!'

'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach

4/10 Matig

"Hotel wordt aangeprezen als 5 sterren. Naar mijn mening is het hotel amper 3 sterren waard. 4 liften beschikbaar voor alle kamers, waardoor de wachttijd zeer lang is, schimmel in de kamer op de plafonds, badkamer veel te klein, feest tijdens ons verblijf van de U.S. Navy, hierdoor veel overlast van dronken gasten die voor de uitgang alles onder spuugde en constant aan het roken waren op de balkons en aan het schreeuwen waren vanaf de balkons. Bij uitcheck wordt er door het personeel niet eens gevraagd hoe het verblijf is geweest, hoort naar mijn mening toch wel in een 5 sterren hotel. Ligging van het hotel is geweldig, enigste pluspunt "

The Twin Fin Hotel

8/10 Goed

"Het hotel ligt aan het einde van waikiki beach. Maar alles is te belopen want waikiki beach is niet zo groot/lang. Gescheiden door weg van het strand. Vlak naast Honolulu Zoo en Diamond head krater. De volgende straat ( kuhio )heeft bushaltes ( $3 per rit p.p. ) Starbucks zit in straat ernaast. Hotel was in orde maar moet in komende jaren gaan nadenken over upgraden/renovatie denk ik. Vorige keer was ik in het Alohilani hotel ( ook aan waikiki beach) en dat is na de renovatie mooi geworden. Twin Fin was wat meer laid back dacht ik. Let op !! Aan de Diamond head kant zou ik geen zij zeezicht kamer nemen vanwege het hotel dat er vlak naast staat. Aan de andere kant is het uitzicht veel beter. Zeker als je op 1 van de bovenste etages zit. Op de etages staan ijsblokjes machines. Twin Fin is prima te doen is mijn conclusie. Op kuhio street zijn veel winkels en restaurants . En voor shoppen, en een groot foodcourt kun je naar ala moana shoppingcentre. Bus 8 en 20 . Hotel reserveert $250 dollar borg op je creditcard wat later weer losgelaten wordt. Martin "
