Not worth the cost, but great location and breakfa
It seems at one point this was really a 5* hotel. However, it has been run down. Yet, great location, nice breakfast, staff is super friendly, polite, helpful. Has little parking on site, the rest is offsite. Because of the overall condition of the room I do not think it is worth the 141€/nigh for the smallest room.

Inte så många som kunde engelska… svårt att kommunicera, kunde tänka mer på basala hygienrutiner när det gällde rummet, badet , köket/maten. Bättre städning hade jag önskat mig samt bättre service för att det annars var ett väldigt fint ställe och prisvärd resa…

Staff does absolute bare minimum to get by
Early 2000s - build clean property with good location - comparable to a Sheraton property which is good. All rooms have seaview. Service however was bare minimum. I give an example - front desk ordered a cab the day before for 0800 pick up the next day for one of my guests. I called the front desk at 0755 and I asked them if the taxi arrived. They replied I DO NOT KNOW and were ready to hang up. I insisted that they walk to the door to look through the glass if the yellow cab had arrived, and that was met with much surprise and almost indignation. Also we had electronic keys problems, and only later found out that we were given a room with a metal key even though the property knew they had electronic lock problems and had other rooms with e-key working. A normal thing would be to fix the rooms with e-key problems first, and in the meantime offer fully-working rooms to guests until the problem is fixed. I might be pushing it a bit, but I do not think this is unreasonable In a nutshell, if service improved it could actually be a lovely place. I honestly hope they fix the service as I sincerely enjoyed the location and I would go back

Not good value for money
The hotel was not good value for money. The room was probably the best thing about the trip, plenty of space, clean good view over the sea. Customer service was not good. Apparently this is a Bulgarian thing but as the hotel is 5 star I think their staff should be trained better. Curt responses from reception, not overly helpful. Breakfast was very disappointing, not a good range of food and staff very slow and disinterested. Pool was not cleaned regularly. Toilet paper floating in one pool for a couple of days and in the other pool insects, leaves etc. Not once did I see the lifeguards go round with the net to scoop things out. Very expensive for what it was.

I can assure you we are working everyday for improving them. I also agree that there is always a place for improvement. I cannot agree with your opinion that we are not cleaning the pools though. We do it a few times a day and of course at any time we notice leaves or other objects that have accidently fallen from our beautiful garden into the swimming pools. Hygene and guest satisfaction are our first priorities and we do not compromise with them. I hope we will see you stay with us again and next time you will be much more satisfied. In generale l'albergo evidenzia carenza di manutenzione. Inoltre ho prenotato una Junior suite per tre perso specificando che mio figlio ha 16 anni e mi sono ritrovato una camera enorme con un solo letto matrimoniale e dopo qualche insistenza è stata aggiunta una miserrima brandina. Ma siamo impazziti!!! Inoltre dopo tre giorni mi è stata cambiata la camera perchè quella che mi era stata data aveva dei problemi di acqua.

GRAND HOTEL POMORIE WAS PERFECT!!! I
Rarely am I fully satisfied with a hotel, especially when price and ranking promised a lot and in reality there is something different or , worse, lack of care for the guests. But GRAND HOTEL POMORIE WAS PERFECT!!! I can go into details but everything was just perfect! From room, staff, surrounding, feel, temperature, bed... You name it. This hotel deserves full 5 stars! Breakfast was great and tasty. Dinner was ok, nothing special but good. All in all, this hotel is on top of my list for longer vacation. Warmly recommend!!!

Great view of the Black Sea, very relaxing
The Doctor at the Hotel Spa is very knowledgeable and kind, we enjoyed our discussions. Our room was very comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful. Clean facilities. Spa facilities are professional. We stayed for one week so the only complaint we had was the breakfast the same every day.
