In the tranquil Canhas, nestled between the green mountains and the serene rhythm of Madeiran life, rises the Freitas House — a spacious and welcoming apartment, designed for those seeking more than just a place to stay. Here, every detail has been created to convey comfort, light, and a genuine sense of home.



Upon entering, we are received by a spacious and bright room, where comfort meets simplicity. The sofa invites one to slow down, the dining table awaits long conversations, and just ahead, the balcony opens to a tranquil view of the mountain — a perfect setting for a leisurely breakfast or a glass of wine at the end of the day.



The kitchen, independent and fully equipped, is a space designed to share moments. Between aromas and laughter, it becomes easy to prepare a homemade meal with everything the house offers: from utensils to small appliances that make a difference. Right next to it, a small laundry room ensures the practicality for those who like to feel the comfort of everyday life, even far from home.



Walking down the corridor, the house reveals itself to be even more welcoming. The first bedroom, with a double bed and an illuminated desk, is the ideal refuge for those travelling for work or simply looking for a quiet corner to read.



The suite, spacious and serene, offers a private bathroom with a bathtub and a charming balcony, perfect for contemplating the landscape while time seems to slow down.



The apartment still has a common bathroom with a shower and everything necessary for a comfortable, practical, and conventional stay!

We started as Madeira Sun Travel, a name that reflected the sun, comfort, and welcoming spirit that has always guided us.



Over time, we realised that we wanted to go further: more proximity, more authenticity, more connection.



This is how Homie was born. More than a new name - a new way of being.
