'Really enjoyable stay. Hotel and rooms have been modernised and look great, aside from a few creaky floorboards! Very quiet when we stayed (missed the nightclub by one day fortunately). Perfect location for the town, castle, river, etc. Knocked off a mark for service as there's not a lot of staff around, but you can call for help if needed (but we didn't need to as it happened).'

The sea view was incredible, we actually saw dolphins from our room. There was ample tea/coffee & milk, a large tv but the beds were absolutely incredible, they were so comfortable as was the linen. If I was to stay again in New Quay I would 💯 stay at the Penwig hotel again xx'
'A lovely hotel, very well thought out styling with everything you might want in our room. Staff are friendly and welcoming, the food was also very good. Its location on the side of the river is very picturesque, the car park is small but there is public parking nearby. '
'Spotlessly clean studio fully equipped with everything needed for a decent stay. Sian could not have been more informative and helpful and made sure everything was on hand at all times. Easy parking and in an ideal spot to walk to everything in Aberporth.'
