Lazy Bear is an affectionate nickname we’ve always used for our girls when they don’t want to get out of bed — and it felt like the perfect name for our holiday home. After all, holidays should be slow, relaxed, and free from the usual rush.

As parents, we’ve tried many different types of holidays over the last seven years, and one thing has always been the same: we come home exhausted. Many families will relate to this. We wanted breaks that created wonderful memories for our children and gave us the chance to unwind, reconnect, and recharge.

That’s why we decided to buy our own holiday home, close enough to avoid the endless “Are we there yet?” but far enough to feel like a true escape. Our aim is to offer everything parents need for a calm, enjoyable stay — a place where children are safe, entertained, and content, while parents finally get some well‑deserved downtime.

To make your stay easier, we provide a range of family‑friendly essentials, including a child gate, travel cot, high chair, toys, books, colouring supplies, board games, and puzzles. The holiday home sits on a quiet corner cul‑de‑sac plot with no through traffic and a secluded garden, giving children a safe outdoor space to play while you enjoy breakfast on the patio or a relaxed afternoon BBQ. The main facilities are less than a two‑minute walk away.

A spacious 3‑bedroom, 2‑bathroom holiday home sleeping up to 8 guests, located in Haven’s flagship 5★ Rockley Park Holiday Park — winner of the AA Holiday Park of the Year 2017.

Set in one of the best locations in the park, the home offers a private garden and is less than 200 metres (with no hills) from the entertainment complex, restaurants, pools, and other facilities. Rockley Sands beach is just a short walk away through Ham Common nature reserve, with beautiful views across Poole Harbour throughout the park. It’s a truly stunning setting for families.

⭐ T&Cs
Bed Linen & Towels: For added convenience, we offer a bed linen and towels package for £12 per person. Most guests choose to bring their own, but you’re welcome to add this option to your booking — simply send us a message and we’ll be happy to arrange it.

Haven Play Passes: These are not included in your booking. Passes are an additional cost, subject to availability, and can only be purchased in advance if your dates match Haven’s set arrival patterns (Mon/Fri/Sat). Otherwise, they can be purchased on arrival from Haven reception. Passes are required for access to swimming pools, entertainment, and certain facilities.
