You simply cannot find a better location for a get away at Lake Dawn. I agree, so convenient to the Olympic National Park.

I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay at our cabin. The Ridge opens at 9:00. I suggest to guests to leave by 8:30 to prevent waiting in long lines. Especially with the amount of snow we've been blessed with this year.

We're pleased you enjoyed staying at our cabin and it's size worked well for you. Olympic National Park does close the roads periodically due to road conditions for every ones safety. As soon as they've completed clearing the roads due to heavy snow, trees falling etc. they'll re-open the roads so people are able to enjoy it's beauty. Our cabin is on 3/4 of an acre nestled among the trees for privacy. This is the first I've heard of any complaints with a neighbor asking you not to use the deck. I'm sorry if this did happen, it's quite shocking hearing this I must admit. I ask our guests to please call or text me if you have any questions, need anything during your stay. I wished you'd notified me immediately. After reading your review I'm not even sure which neighbor to confront. The neighbors of Lake Dawn all pitch in together and help one another out. Please know both the owner and I are very sorry this happened. We're proud to say that no other guests have had this happen to them. Our furnishings are of high quality and are 5 years old. The owner put tape to prevent any tears on a seam under the cushion in hopes of preventing it tearing or pull apart. (It simply is a precaution since we are not at the cabin when our guests stay we have know idea how they take care of furniture.) We don't have duct tape patching up a hole or tear on the surface of our leather furniture. Thank you for mentioning one bed was uncomfortable I'll definitely make sure our mattresses are rotated and turned over as I assumed they would be. Up stairs I was impressed with the unique size of the bunk bed. Top bunk twin, and bottom bunk two people can sleep. Wished more of the places I manage had this same set up. Sorry for the missing measuring cups during your stay. I've bought new glass and plastic size measuring cups for guests. When the other measuring cup is located we'll have several to choose from. Thank you for your suggestion as to having board games, puzzles and a deck of cards. Upstairs either under the coffee table or under the bunk bed is where the cards, dice and board games are kept. I'm sorry if you didn't find them, wished you'd asked where we keep them. Of course I would have loved this suggestion! I enjoyed working with you and hope you'll be able to return.

Enchanted Forest Cabin is comfortably furnished, rustic cabin and is off the grid. Our location is perfect for those eagerly wanting to explore the Olympic National Park or simply for relaxation with birds chirping, deer grazing in front. Because we are off the grid we offer WIFI and DVDs but no TV service. Our bedroom furniture is unique with style perfect for our location. I'm 5' 6" and have no problem with the height of our beds. We do have a stool for shorter guests of course. It was a pleasure hosting you, looking forward in hopes you'll be able to return.

Pleased our cabin worked well for you. I love the large deck glad you used the BBQ. Not sure why the cold water turned off during using the shower. Wonder if perhaps you must of turned the knob too hot? Good to hear we have hot water, instead of too cold . lol Glad to hear you'll come back next time you'll be in our area.
