This was our first (and likely last) time using this rental company, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.Check-in was at 12 PM, and we arrived on time—not early. Upon entering the home, we were immediately greeted with piles of dirty laundry from the previous guests—sheets, towels, rags—all left on the floor. Even worse, we had paid extra for fresh linens and towels, which were nowhere to be found.When I called to report this, I was told they “hadn’t made their rounds yet.” In my opinion, that’s completely unacceptable. No guest should walk into someone else’s filth, regardless of check-in time.Even after they eventually dropped off the clean linens, I had to call again because the dirty ones still hadn’t been removed.It didn’t stop at the linens—the house was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. Used toiletries were left behind, the toilet had human feces on and under the lid, the shower had sand and soap scum, and the kitchen counters hadn’t been wiped down. It felt unsanitary throughout.Beyond cleanliness, the home itself was in poor condition. The bed covers were torn, and the kitchen table had broken legs—both needing immediate replacement or repair.I strongly urge the owners to consider necessary upgrades and, more importantly, to hire a new property management company. The current one failed miserably in preparing this home for paying guests.
