Life's a Beach is a newly built home located in The Villas at Roll Over Bay, in Gilchrist. The open-concept living and kitchen area will make you feel right at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking basics needed to prepare meals for your family. The island bar provides a food prep area and seating for dining. In the living room, you'll find comfortable seating for everyone to relax and visit. It also has a sleeper sofa to accommodate two people. This home is equipped with WIFI. You can stay connected to all your tech devices and stream your favorite shows and movies on the Smart TV. You will enter the login and password information provided in a picture frame near the TV in the living room. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level. Both bedrooms have a king bed with an attached bathroom. There is a queen bed in the loft area. The ladder to the loft area is steep and may not be suitable for small children. Outside on the oversized deck, you will have a view of beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and the beach. You will enjoy dining and relaxing on the deck at the picnic table and raised deck chairs. (Not in the Photos) This neighborhood also has a newly built playground and a swimming pool area available for your use. (Please follow all rules when using these facilities. There will not be lifeguards on duty at the pool area. )
When the waves call, you are just 300 yards from the shore! You can access the beach via walking, golf cart ride, or vehicle. After a fun day playing in the sand, return to your cabin, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and grill something scrumptious on the charcoal grill.
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes cannot guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay. We cannot offer refunds for the disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting, or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rent. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for the renter's use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house, and standard beds are made for your arrival. Linens will be provided in the home for all sleeper sofas, trundles, and pull-out bedding. Paper products, other than toilet tissue and paper towels, and cleaning supplies are not included.
We provide a starter pack consisting of the items below. Please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tabs (if applicable)
2 laundry tabs (if applicable)
1 small dish liquid soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar of hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest

All our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.
