There was more than enough room for our family of 5, the house was clean and beautifuly decorated, communication with the owner was easy and comfortable, the location is awesome, It's less than 5 minutes from magnolia beach, 2 minutes from a little covenient store, about 10 minutes from a maraina where you can order food/drinks and even fish for $6 off the back deck!(I will say, the food at the maraina is ehh and it's over priced so keep that in mind if you're wanting to go out for a nice meal), and about 20 minutes from port oconnor! My only complaint is that there were two dogs wondering the neighborhood (they were not an issue last year) that chased our vehicle multiple times and did not seem friendly, thankfully the house has a fenced in front/back yard so it was not a deal breaker with the kids. This is our go-to spot in port lavaca. We will be back!

Perfectly Pleasant
The property was a perfect fit for our family of 5. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and it was easy to find everything we needed. We appreciated the lack of WiFi so our family could unplug and connect with each other instead. The only tiny (uncontrollable) about our visit was the timing; we were unaware of the enormous group that comes to town and parks/camps on the beach for Memorial Day weekend so we ended up driving 30 minutes to another beach to enjoy the sun & the sand. Which worked out best to stop at Dairy Queen on the way back. Overall - 5 stars!

House was fine for our last minute trip. Checkin and checkout were easy. The listing does not say there is wifi, but it also does not say that there isn’t wifi. The service in the area is very spotty, so we had very little service. Mentioning this in the listing would be helpful for future guests. The house could use a deep cleaning as well. All in all, the house served its purpose and the host/owner was communicative and easy to reach.

We Loved This House
We had 5 adults and 1 teen and had plenty of room. The house is adorable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a meal. The owners were very easy to communicate with. We did not fish on the beach by the house but did drive down to see it. It is a shell beach and there is a boat ramp. I definitely recommend staying here if you are coming to Port Lavaca and in our case, Port O’Connor it was about a 25 min drive.

We enjoyed our stay.
The house was beautifully decorated/remodeled, very spacious and literally right around the corner from Magnolia beach and a convenient store. We absolutely loved this Beach. You can pull right up to the water (for free) and there are shells everywhere. There's also a marina/bait shop/bar/restaurant all in one about 5 minutes away where our whole family really enjoyed eating and hanging out! The house was clean enough but clearly not done by a professional. Cobwebs in every corner, trashcan was dirty, clothes in the dryer, food in the freezer and dead roaches behind most of the furniture. Luckily we only saw one sizeable live roach so I'm sure the owners are doing there best to keep them away given the age and location of the house. There was also a small leak in the ceiling above the island in the kitchen that I'm guessing had to do with the AC. We've stayed in cleaner/roach free coast houses and prefer those but would stay here again to experience all that this town had to offer!

I absolutely loved everything about this house and the area it is located in! My family and I had such a great time and felt so comfortable in the house. It has so much room, so many kitchen tools and pans. A great back yard. LOVED IT! I wish I would've planned a longer stay!

Nice place but wasn't really what we wanted!
This was a nice decorated cute place but was not close enough to the beach where I thought it would be. There wasn't a Keurig but old coffee pot. There was not two bar b que pits like it said only a small one that was difficult to cook on, or a picnic table out front like it said. We killed 5 big roaches I was deathly afraid of and didnt sleep well.

The house is as listed. A few blocks from the water. Renters tore up one barbecue pit and the picnic table was moved to the back yard. As most people know who live in the coastal area, the tree roaches are scary but harmless. The house is kept sprayed but it does not stop those which come in under the doors etc.
