Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time at this property. The home was clean, spacious, and worked well for our group. However, there are a few things future guests should be aware of before booking.First, while the listing states that the home sleeps 13, four of those sleeping spaces are located in a separate downstairs unit. This wasn’t immediately obvious to us from the listing (this was completely my fault). However, larger groups should be aware that not everyone will be staying in the main living area. The downstairs unit also appeared to have moisture issues and had a strong musty/moldy odor during our stay. Unfortunately, one of the grandparents staying downstairs began experiencing breathing difficulties and ultimately had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. While we can’t say with certainty what caused the medical issue, the air quality and odor in that space were concerning. Also, the photos make the walk to the beach appear to be a flat, easy path. While the beach is certainly accessible, there are steps involved, and the boardwalk leading to the beach is in significant need of repair. Guests with mobility concerns should keep this in mind when considering the property.Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our vacation and appreciated the location and overall accommodations. We simply wanted to share these details so future guests can make an informed decision and know what to expect.
