Luxe hotels in Port Vila

'A solid 3 star resort. Below par in a lot of things to include having mould in the rooms and poor bedding. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom were broken. We asked for a room change and still found the same issue such as broken fixture, mould and the bedding had an odour and lets not talk about the wifi. The island is beautiful thought with great staff and the food was good.'

'Had the most perfect stay in paradise. Everything you want for a relaxed island getaway. Accomodation was perfect, staff very friendly and helpful and excellent meals at the restaurant. We used the kayaks every day and snorkeled at the small reef to the east of the island. All villas appear to have water frontage. Could not recommend more highly if you are after a low key and relaxing escape '

'Food offerings were pretty standard, although the Teppanyaki was awesome. Pool was very good. Boat to the Erakor resort for Lunch/Dinner was very useful. Significant refurbishment from 8am to 5pm was annoying, made it difficult to relax on the verandah - due to drilling/grinding etc. Room was well located next to the lagoon, spacious and functional. Loved our 1st visit to Vanuatu, the close proximity of Erakor and Ramada hotels provided lots of eating/drinking options.'

'I would like a refund for the accommodation. The property was not as advertised. There was no operating restaurant. The room was unclean The shutters on the windows broken. Overall very unsatisfactory and not what was represented. I would like my $1200 money returned.'

'Good resort, very clean, nice setting. Staff is lovely, their travel desk can be a bit pushy in offering only their tours (Pele island didn't exist because they didn't offer a tour to it for instance...). Thing to improve is the breakfast. Pancakes, canned fruit, Vegemite and some very dry pastries and that was it. Anything else had to be paid for.'
