'There was no communication whatsoever about how to check in, despite sending several messages through Hotels.com and directly to the property before our arrival. When we arrived, we found a Ring doorbell at the entrance, which had not been disclosed in the listing. After ringing it, there was no apology for the lack of communication—only someone asking if we had been given the access code, which we had not. The property itself was in a totally unacceptable condition. It was filthy throughout,...

'Close to the sea/beach. One hears the waves from the hotel room windows. Excellent in house restaurants, friendliest staff and wonderfully located close to Holyhead ferry port and UK customs (relevant for my stay)'

'De kamer bevond zich in een oud gebouw met achterstallig onderhoud. Het was ook vrij gehorig. Bed was prima en kamer was schoon. De mensen van de pub waar we moesten inchecken waren super vriendelijk.'

'Ik had geen ontbijt. Had wel een prachtige kamer, lekker bed, alle ramen konden open. Locatie was prima vlakbij de bushaltes en vlakbij het kasteel. Ook een heel mooi gebouw.'

'Amazing value, huge en-suite room with adjoining living room with large smart TV, kitchen area and loungers. We even had sea views from two windows. All within the walled town a stones throw from the castle. Best value o have ever had with Expedia. Well done Sue, you should put your prices up!'

'Schone kamer en badkamer. Goede bedden. Douchen in bad is enige nadeel. Uitstekend full english breakfast'

'Leuk hotel voor mijn doortocht vanaf Ierland naar Nederland en kort bij de ferryhaven in Holyhead. Ongeveer 15 min rijden. Gastvrij ontvangen, het ontbijt was meer dan voldoende. We hebben geen klagen en komen daar waarschijnlijk nog eens terug.'

'Very clean comfy good location and lovely staff well worth a visit'

'Excellent facilities for our family base, couldn't have asked for more in terms of quality of location, equipment and entertainment for all including games, media etc. We wanted a location we could use to explore the whole island and we found it worked perfectly. Couldn't have been cleaner, great welcome pack to help you when you first get there, safe parking, great garden grounds to utilise, family friendly and ran by a great couple who are close by for any reassurances you may need.'

'No entry code given. Wanted passport or driving licence. Neither were carried with us as we toured Wales.'

'Great size Good location Decent price '

'The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It made our trip even more enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to other guests. Thank you! 😊'

'Excellent location, parking spot outside the property, brilliant views from the balcony, nice touches by owner, wine and milk in the fridge, Welsh cakes on the dining table, 2 bathrooms. Stairs a little steep, so be aware of that when booking'

'A great location with great amenities, near two big grocery stores and lots of places to eat. Perfect for a sightseeing journey around the Welsh Highlands. They are not terribly responsive via the Expedia app, so don't expect much if you're reaching out that way.'

'Gorgeous property and fantastic location! We loved the stay and the property had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and return.'
