The young woman who checked us in was very nice. It's a shame she is working in such a poor facility. When we entered our room it had a very strong oder of cigarettes. My wife noticed squashed cockroaches and a large spider on the walls. We walked out, contacted the young woman and told her we were checking out. She was helpful with that. We wound up contacting Expedia and were able to get a full refund to our credit card. I'm surprised this motel is still in business. The health department needs to shut it down.

Horrendous facilities and service
This may have been the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had in my life… I am 60 years old and travel extensively. I booked a room and was told I would have a king size bed in a non-smoking room Upon my arrival, I was informed that there was no king size bed and that I had the only room left. Upon entering the room, I was overwhelmed by the smell of smoke and some sort of air spray When I spoke to the desk clerk to try and get a different room he told me that was just the fresh air spray that they used, there was no smoke smell. I was exhausted, and had already paid. With no other options, and too tired to go on, I want to sleep in the room. I felt as though I had been taken advantage of for having paid through hotels.com, as the hotel already had the money. I dislike leaving a bad review, as I believe we should accentuate the positive, but I believe you should be warned.

Hotels.com should be ashamed.
The scariest hotel I have ever been to. At the end of a long deserted road with abandoned gas station. The hotel was filthy. Rat/Mice feces found in the bed. Couldn't get in touch with hotels.com to change reservations. 45 miles later and $100 more we found a safe/clean comfortable hotel. Hotels.com should remove this hotel.

There was some wear and tear noted. Worst thing was that the traction strips in the shower-tub were worn away leaving the tub very slippery when wet, a very bad thing for seniors.

Rude staff, run down motel
The staff was not very friendly and charged us $20 extra once we got there. They were very rude and treated my fiancé hatefully. The tv was not plugged in when we arrived and so we plugged it up and it shocked us. The vent was gone in the bathroom and had sticky tape up for what looked like bugs.. The beds were hard and not comfortable. There were no washcloths or towels in the room when we arrived and the motel was out in the middle of nowhere.

Motel was old and not well maintained. Staff had trouble finding the reservation, "key" wouldn't work and any request for assistance was met with a very negative feeling. Will never go anywhere near that place again!

There was no flat screen as stated online. The sheets were dirty, there were bugs in the room. I have a rash, unsure what if it was bed bugs but am in the process of finding out. Nothing about this place was appealing.

We never checked in. When we finally found the motel there was no power in that area as there had been a storm. The young man at the desk with a flashlight was no help whatsoever. When we told him we couldn't stay with no electricity we asked him if we would be charged. He didn't seem to know the procedure We left and drove to the next town for a room with electric power. We still don't know if we were charged.

The worst stay ever
I was appalled at the condition of my room. I’m allergic to most laundry soap, so I travel with my own sheets, otherwise I wouldn’t have slept in the bed. The sink was dirty, and the faucet was broken. I had to hold the handle to get the toilet to flush. I had to search for receptacles to charge my electronics. When I was checking in, I couldn’t understand the clerk’s English, and he got quite irate. I suggest this property needs to be removed from your site as it is not up to your standards.

Don’t do it
Disgusting. Dirty. Terrifying. There was nothing good about this hotel. We stayed because we were coming home from Spring Break and it was the only available room within hours. We could only try to sleep for three hours before we decided it was more safe to get back in the car.

Don’t stay here!
This hotel was a shock. Bathroom was disgusting. Sink terrible and splattered with paint. White Sheets were gray. On the positive side I did not see bedbugs. Road noise sounded like it was right next to the room. Next door was an abandoned gas station. If there was any other place to stay we would not have stayed here!

It was a place to lay our heads, but not very clean. We travel with a service dog and they actually knew what we were talking about and respected that. Hard to find that on the east coast.

Seedy motel
First hotel that wasn't booked on the way home from Florida, should have kept driving! Accidentally booked a smoking room online and man at check in was rude when we asked to change to non smoking and said there were none available. Checked online again and could have gotten a non smoking room. Whole place was nasty. Looked like it had original everything from 50 years ago down to the nasty carpet.

Not horrible, not great. I'd give it pass.
I thought I was pulling up to the Bates motel! Scary as heck. But I decided to give them a try. It was pretty clean, but old and shabby. The bed was super comfortable. The road noise was really bad. All in all, I'd give it a pass.

This hotel is at a corner but easy to find and access from the highway 40. The hotel room is amazingly big! All the furniture are new and sheet is clean although some burnt holes in it. The only unhappy thing is water is slow. Strongly recommend.

The room itself is fine. The guy at the desk is a jerk. The hotel is right next to the highway and the walls are paper thin. There’s no way to sleep because it’s so loud. I can hear people in next door rooms clearing their throats. The rate charged is way too much for this hole in the ground.

The toilet seat was broke the tub was in awful condition. We were told we could bring the dog and got yelled at for having the dog. There were cig, burns on the tub, carpet and other places. This place is a dumb.

Spend an extra $20 and go somewhere else!!
It was the cheapest place to stay on a Saturday night, so I wasn’t expecting 5-star. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE..The mid 30’s guy at the desk with glasses is a con artist. I walked in to check in. He said, “how many people?” I said 2.. He got an attitude and quickly said,“You only checked one for the room. I have cameras! You both go in the room I’ll kick you out and NO REFUNDS!” I said, well how much is 2 people? He said $20. I thought, I ain’t paying another $20 to stay at this sh*thole. So I started looking up the price on my phone for the rate of 2 people. Before I could look, the guy said he’d take $10. I thought, fine. Its late and I just want to get n the room. I said do you have change for a $20. He said yeah. He gave me 5 ones and said the other $5 is on the room key when I checkout. I thought, great con job lol. I get to the room and check the rate for 2 people, the exact same price as one. The whole room felt dingy. I’m sure there’s worse rooms to stay in so I’ll give the place that. I called to get the wifi password. I couldn’t understand the guy on the phone so I walked back to the office. He wrote it down. The password never worked, we could never login. Another con from the master! I drank some, went to sleep, then left the next morning. That last sentence was the best part of the stay, and I did get my other $5 back at checkout

A little surprised...
Although definitely not a 3 star hotel and in an isolated location I found this older hotel "quiet and peaceful" compared to the pricier hotels the next exit up. I slept very well. Don't expect a 5 star hotel for a 2 star price.

Close to Nashville without the inflated prices. No glitz and glam, just the necessities. Rooms are dated, but works in a pinch. There's one pothole on 65 that can make staying in a room near the front annoying because of the excess noise from semi trucks. Driveway and parking lot leaves a lot to be desired as well.
