This delightful 36 m² property offers a welcoming and comfortable retreat, ideal for families or friends looking to enjoy a memorable stay in the city.

It is designed with a modern and elegant style with large windows, providing a peaceful and bright ambience to guests.

The space features a comfortable sitting area with a TV for relaxing evenings and a dining table. The open-concept kitchen provides a welcoming environment for socialising and enjoying meals together. It includes essential cookware and cutlery to make delicious meals, such as an oven, cooking plate, microwave and coffee maker.

It also includes a comfortable queen bed and multiple storage spaces. The bathroom has all the essentials, including fresh towels, a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries to make your stay even more comfortable.

It is located on the 2nd floor and the building has elevator. The property is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home, so please take good care of it as if it were your own.

Rua 1º de Maio in Vila Nova de Gaia offers a welcoming, residential feel while keeping you close to the pulse of local life. Along this street, you’ll find traditional cafés, bakeries, and small shops brimming with Portuguese charm, perfect for grabbing a coffee or a fresh pastry. Its convenient location makes it easy to reach other parts of Gaia or hop over the river to Porto, whether by public transport or a short drive.

Nearby, visitors can enjoy the Gaia Biological Park, the Casa-Museu Teixeira Lopes, and the Diogo de Macedo galleries, all offering insights into the region’s nature and cultural heritage. A stroll along the Douro riverside reveals stunning views of Porto’s skyline and the iconic bridges. Rua 1º de Maio is an excellent base for exploring both the quieter side of Gaia and the vibrant city across the river.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest subway station, General Torres, is just a 4-minute walk.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 22-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
