As we talked personally during your stay, we do not have a 24-hour reception and therefore we contact our guests in advance to find out information for check-in in advance. We make this contact either through the booking platform (in this case Expedia) which directs to the email provided by guests, or via the telephone contact provided to us by the booking platform (Expedia) via WhatsApp. Unfortunately, as you told me, you were not alert to my successive contacts and did not reply to the several requests for information I sent.Although we do not have a 24-hour reception and as our name (Home @ Porto Clérigos Apartment) indicates, we are Apartments (not hotel), we are quite flexible with check-in.Despite these, as you also told me, i’m happy that you had have a great time in Porto and also enjoyed your stay in the apartment. Creo que debe haber un error al considerar que somos un Hotel, ya que en la plataforma de reservas está explícito que somos Apartamentos, en realidad, como nuestro nombre indica: Home @ Porto Clérigos Apartment.De hecho, no disponemos de recepción 24 horas, pero recibimos personalmente a nuestros huéspedes, dándoles la bienvenida, explicándoles sobre el apartamento y dándoles sugerencias sobre lo que pueden visitar y hacer en la ciudad de Porto. También estamos siempre disponibles vía WhatsApp, respondiendo con prontitud ante cualquier situación que nuestros huéspedes puedan solicitar o necesitar.Apesar de eso, estamos muy contentos de que han disfrutado de vuestra estancia en Porto y de que han sentido bien y cómodos en nuestro apartamento y de que tambien les gusto nuestro servicio. Dear Chee Ng, We are sad and disappointed that you did not have such a good experience as we wished in our Apartments. In fact, the construction close to the building creates several constraints and I wish they weren't there. Although, they work under all the security rules and without any danger to the people who are walking close or under it. Normally, early in the morning, they don't do activities with a lot of noise, but I’m aware that even those activities with little noise can sometimes bother who are close by. My apologies, but unfortunately I can't do much about the works. From what I have been informed, they are already in the final phase of the works and removing the scaffolding from the construction. Despite the apartments being located in downtown Porto, they are on a quiet street with no shops, bars, restaurants or other services open at night. It is a street that combines locals with some accommodations and usually the street is clean and without bad smells. I believe it was a very punctual situation, as we do not observe these situations and we don not have this kind of feedback from our guests. As for seagulls, unfortunately they are a problem for the entire city of Porto, particularly in the downtown area. Porto City Council has been trying to implement measures to dissuade seagulls from hanging around the city. The apartments are located in a historic building but were entirely renovated in 2018 and 2019 and every year the necessary renovations and renovations are carried out so that our guests feel comfortable and have a good experience in our Apartments. It is for this purpose that we work and fortunately our work has been recognized by the majority of guests who give us good feedback and reviews, proving that they felt good and enjoyed staying in our Apartments.

Durante a vossa estadia, como habitualmente fazemos, mandamos uma mensagem a perguntar se estava tudo bem e se precisavam de algo, ao qual não tivemos resposta. Infelizmente também não temos indicação do que não achou positivo na sua estadia, mas no entanto iremos verificar internamente o que poderá não ter corrido tão bem. Obrigado!
