Top hotel
Ideale ligging. Net buiten de drukte van de stad. Vlak aan de rivier. Openbaar vervoer, zowel bus 500 als de oude trams 1 en 18 stoppen vlakbij. Enige eetgelegenheden vlakbij. De bar van het hotel oogt leeg. Grote ruimte met weinig animo. Wordt ook gebruikt als ontbijtzaal. Ontbijt top. Enig minpuntje... het warme deel (spek, ei, boontjes, worstjes...) wordt niet warm gehouden. Maar het heeft toch gesmaakt. Hoewel het aantal mensen bij het ontbijt het tegendeel bewees was het zo stil in de gangen dat we dachten de enige gasten te zijn. Een echte aanrader!

Fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel
Dit is een zeer prettig hotel met erg vriendelijk personeel. We hadden een vroege aankomst en een vroeg vertrek. In beide gevallen deed het personeel er alles aan om ons tegemoet te komen: proberen de kamer sneller klaar te hebben en ontbijtverzorging buiten de standaardtijden om. Als gratis service biedt het hotel een smartphone met 4G aan, die je gedurende je hele verblijf bij je mag houden en gebruiken. Handig als je eigen databundel een limiet heeft in het buitenland. Gelegen aan de rivier, centraal genoeg om naar dingen te lopen, maar ook met bus- en tramhaltes praktisch voor de deur. Mochten we weer naar Porto gaan, dan zouden we dit hotel zeker weer boeken!

Hotel bom, mas com localização não muito atraente, apesar da facilidade de ter bonde próximo que leva ao centro. Para ser um hotel classificado com estrelas, acho que deixou a desejar. Não tinha nenhum amenites, o Box do chuveiro era desconfortável, não tinha nenhuma prateleira para shampoo e sabonete, achei ruim!! Também não tinha espelho para fazer maquiagem. O café da manhã também não me agradou, não tinha frutas, é bem mais ou menos. A recepção foi gentil e atenciosa! A vista para o rio D’ouro, e o ponto alto do quarto. O cardápio do restaurante achei pobre e sofrível!!

Great location near trams and buses. Adequate yet confusing breakfast. Limited staffing for the restaurant but a couple of good alternatives nearby. We did have a river view, however the window was small and high. The room could benefit my hanging a bar table and chairs. No Kleenex to be had for n the room. A pet peeve of mine.

The Douro River
This hotel was nicely located by the river, not too far from downtown and the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food options were fresh and well prepared. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent! The room was very basic with few amenities but it was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Very good hotel , good location.
Had a 3 night stay here. Excellent staff and rooms. Very good eco friendly policies in place. Room was clean and comfortable , breakfast also very good - both hot and cold options. Location abot 10 mins walk to Ribeira which suited us and meant hotel was quiet at night. Several very good restaurants literally on the doorstep if you dont want to go too far at night. Would very much recommend and would definitely stay here again if back in Porto. Thanks to allthe staff who made our stay perfect.

Excelente hotel, fica um lugar um pouco afastado, mas chega-se rápido a qualquer lugar. Pena não ter estacionamento nem manobrista, consegui uma vaga na rua por sorte.

Staff were excellent and friendly. We liked the small buffet breakfast in the morning before tours. Rooms were very clean and made up each day. Trams and buses are right across from hotel. I had small issue with hot/cold water in shower which staff noted and said they would address. I would stay again.

Molto accogliente
Soggiorno di 4 notti per viaggio di lavoro. Ho trovato una stanza accogliente, non enorme ma ben organizzata (a parte una collocazione un po' bizzarra degli interruttori della luce) e ben decorata, e personale veramente molto gentile e disponibile. Molto bene il buffet della colazione. Esperienza del tutto positiva.

il bagno misura 80x80, non ci si siede, ma che 4 stelle è? ci fanno pagare le cialde del caffe .....in camera....., vista fiume con il tram che passa ogni 5 min con un rumore infernale gentile il personale

Loved the location; beautiful out of the way street away from the crowds. Local restaurants in the neighborhood are quite good as well. Room was a bit dated not sure it commanded the price. Loved all the art; breakfast was a wonderful addition.

Location was very good, walking distance to the major attractions. The tram for city tour passes in front of the hotel, and easy access to it.
