'I guess it's what you would expect for a 2 star hotel. We were in a room close to reception and it was very noisy through the night. Avoid room 12 if they put you in there!'

'Als je binnenkomt is het al prachtig. Mooi gedecoreerd en ruim. Onze kamer was ruim en schoon en liet niets te wensen over. Ontbijtmenu is wel wat verwarrend, moet je nu iets van de kaart kiezen en mag je dan niets van het buffet nemen, of tegen betaling?'

'Basically I booked this for its location and price. Was very grateful to find we had been upgraded to a family room in the basement. Sadly though other residents weren’t as thoughtful and kept us awake till nearly 3 in the morning, slamming doors and talking loudly outside our window and in hallway. Also room was stiflingly hot. There was a fan but it didn’t reduce heat. Can’t fault how polite and helpful staff were with booking.'

'The hotel was great the air conditioning could not cool the room off enough for our liking during the heat dome we experienced. The breakfast was very nice the restaurant was imho over priced for what you got and the younger staff could have smiled and been a little friendlier.'

'Block I was in had safe gated parking for £15 a night. My room was up several floors of stairs, so very glad I only had light luggage. But the room was stylish, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast in the resturant in another block over the road. Would stay again if in Southsea.'
