Looked and smelled clean, friendly staff. I did not find an elevator for the upper rooms. When booking some reviews said it needed repairs, I guess they did or are in the process. I would stay again

Room, bedding, towels and everything smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. The drapes were badly stained with something that looked like spaghetti sauce thrown on them. There was a dead roach in the corner in the bathroom. Staff was pleasant, but there wasn’t much they could do since all rooms were full for eclipse. This was a second floor room in the back, so it’s possible it wasn’t used very often. Also didn’t have any no smoking signs. The location was convenient and breakfast was good.

Rooms were clean but our shower head was broken so we couldnt move it. We were able to use it but not adjust it for the littles. The man working the front counter was very friendly. My main complaint is the lady who does breakfast. We have stayed at this Sure Stay several times and she is always very unfriendly. She seems like its an inconvenience if we ask her anything and she rarely smiles.

The front desk person was very nice. The chicken was really quick. The rooms were very clean. I did not realize that the doors were on the outside as in a motel situation and the if you are staying on the front the traffic is you can hear the traffic noise. Also, our room have to be on the first floor right under the stairs so we were hearing people leave really early in the morning which is understandable but I definitely would ask to be put on a back the back side of the building. Other than that it was a fine stay. Everything worked and it was very clean and the people were friendly. The breakfast was a typical mediocre hotel; cereal situation but on all it was worth the value it took care of our needs

I booked a king, non smoking room and when I checked in I was given a king smoking room. Went to the front desk and was told I had booked a smoking room and they had no king non smoking rooms available. Had to settle for two queen non smoking. The front desk person tried to make me feel bad about wanting a downstairs room (we rode our motorcycle and wanted to keep an eye on it) by saying now he would probably have to tell some old lady with no legs that she would have to take an upstairs room later on in the evening. I will let my biker friend know this is not a biker friendly motel.

I would stay somewhere else. Room was good except the ceiling started leaking and the girl at the front desk did not seem that surprised when brought to her attention. Owners are difficult and not accommodating. Housekeeping was banging on the door at 8 am knowing we were checking out that day. We were lectured about them not allowing “outsiders” at the pool but they charged us for three small children to come play anyway. Very confusing and I dont appreciate being lectures by another adult i er something so insignificant. We also got lectured about breakfast closing at 9 when we showed up at 9:03 am.

You get what you pay for. The property is fairly clean and kept up. The beds are stiff and the furniture dinged and well worn. The lights are harsh and not welcoming. The air conditioner pulls in the humidity from outside leaving the room cooler and humid. BUT as a wayside stop where I only need to sleep shower and be gone this fit just nice. The bed was clean, the water warm, and the price palatable.

We checked in went to first room. Was a water leak in ceiling, dry wall tape falling and crumbling off. Smell of mold from unclean ac that we’re or had been flooded was pungent. The cockroach that climbed on my husbands drink was my breaking point. Rm 102 is a osha rule book wrote up wet dream. Went to desk requested a new room. Staff was respectful and very understanding as well accommodating. Said would mention the items to management but doubt it would be heard. Was placed in second room 115 that was complete 180 from 102 . Was clean and smelled clean with no leaks or roaches I know i looked for an hr. Place needs new management and a hell of an update. Staff was pleasant though.
