Luxury gite in the beautiful Indre region of central France.

Located in the grounds of the main house but having its own private space and entrance this beautifull gite was totally renovated in 2023. Set in it's own private gardens with ample free parking, our spacious gite will provide you with all you need to relax, rewind and recharge. Many of our guests just like to enjoy the sunshine and the amazing views and above all the peace and transquility of this little known area. Sit on the covered terrace with a glass of some delicious and a platter of local meats or cheeses from one of the local markets and plan your holiday and with so much so see and do in the Indre and neighbouring La Creuse regions, you can certainly fill your days. Go for lunch at Hotel du Lac in Crozant and take the Bateau du Promenade and gently cruise along the river and admire the stunning scenery - great opportunity for photographs too! Visit the Teleski located 10 minutes from Petite Ferme Embir and watch (or even take part) the wakeboarders navigating the obstacles on the lake. The roads in the area are very well maintained and perfect for cycling and we have plenty of secure storage for bikes and equipment. We have a small collection of animals - 3 horses, 3 small sheep and 4 goats together with some chickens . All our welcome to feed them and we can provide some titbits but would ask that we accompany you until they get to know you. We also have a small potager (vegetable patch) and we invite you to pick your own vegetables when they are in season and our hens will provide you with eggs during your stay. We stock the fridge with butter, water and juice and can collect bread and criossants from our local boulangerie if you do not want to go out too early! The gite has a small outside covered cooking area with an electric plancha (grill) so you do not have to clean a dirty BBQ. Evenings can be spent on the terrace, with the fairy lights on and with virtually no light pollution just enjoy the amazing big skies.
