'Good air con. Plenty of parking extra at rear. Clean room. Lots of light switches but only 1 worked. No shelf in shower to stand anything on. Taps in sink not enough height to get kettle access. Corridor lit very dim a bit creepy for ladies on their own. Price of drinks in bar were extortionate. Lots of cameras in bar ceiling I counted 9 at least. 'Pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. While there are a few areas of wear and tear, I found the room to be comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep. 'Manager very attentive upgraded rooms because of an issue with air conditioning. Small fridge would have been a bonus but everything we needed in all our rooms, extra water and condiments in hallway. Fresh fruit was a nice touch. Restaurant was 10/10. The only disheartening incident was being refused Scottish bank notes, it is legal tender, definitely not the welcome we expected. Scotland is still part of the United Kingdom.'

'The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)'

'If you are visiting Sheffield you can’t go wrong with a stay at this hotel. So easy into sheffield( we were at the Arena) lovely and clean and new. Fab staff and service and food was great in restaurant.'

Nothing wrong with people enjoying themselves but there should be advance warning and a discount if the hotel is really full with functions.
