'I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.'

'Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife.'

'Beautiful property within a community still being built. This is going to be a fantastic development when fully finished. You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). 'We stayed here in October 2025 for four nights. This boutique hotel shares a building with a small coffee shop and bakery, where you can conveniently charge items directly to your room. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants and tour operators. The staff was friendly and helpful—especially Carrol, who checked us in.
