Erg fijn hotel in prachtige omgeving
Vorig zijn we hier ook geweest. Top locatie met schitterende natuur. Sfeervol hotel met erg goed restaurant. Mooi zwembad en goede spa faciliteiten. Het is een relatief klein hotel met relaxte sfeer. Personeel vonden we dit jaar wel iets minder attent. Er zijn een paar onderhoudsissues van het gebouw. Bed is vrij hard.

Beetje tegenvaller na recenties
Mooie spa en prachtig hotel. Vriendelijkheid van het personeel vonden wij echt tegenvallen. We voelden ons behandeld als een kamernummer ipv gasten. Kamer was klein en benauwd, buiten lawaai van auto's en binnen airco. Locatie wel erg mooi in Furnas.

The location was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a couple issues with the our room, mostly that the shower didn’t drain and would overflow onto the bathroom floor within minutes. It was a bummer to have an upgraded room with the pool, and be dealing with a silly issue like that.

Awesome hotel! The staff were wonderful and the room was well appointed! Loved the big towels and comfy robes. The bed was a little firm for my preference. The hot spring pool is amazing. Spent hours there relaxing and taking advantage of the sauna and Turkish bath as well. I used the gym twice and had no problems, though one of the treadmills wasn’t working. Would definitely come back!

Expérience inoubliable
Excellent séjour ! A notre arrivée notre chambre n’était pas prête donc nous avons été surclassés dans une chambre supérieure et on nous a offert un verre ainsi qu’une bouteille de champagne ! Bref ça valait le coup! La chambre était magnifique, très propre avec le prêt d’un sac et de matériel de sport. Très sympa les petits chapeaux de paille en cadeau!

The water features where amazing. The facility was beautiful, but a bit rough in some of the rooms from what appeared to be water damage.The staff was wonderful and genuinely interested in enhancing your stay. Joao helped us prepare a Cozido, where we placed food in a large pot that we later transported to the inground ovens heated by the volcano. It was delicious. Very memorable.

The place is beautiful, everyone was helpful and accommodating. The thermal spa was a great bonus during our stay and the restaurant is very pretty and relaxing and the breakfast buffet was great.

Overall a really nice hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The spa facilities were really good and the pools were amazing. My only gripe would be that, for the price, the rooms could do with a bit of TLC. There were a few cracks here and there and our room was a bit damp. Also the coffee served in the bar was just Nespresso pods, which is such a shame in Portugal where the coffee is generally so good!

Das Octant liegt wunderbar inmitten von Furnas, in Angrenzung an einen Park. Die Zimmer sind schön, ebenfalls das Restaurant, die ganze Anlage bräuchte aber teilweise Renovierungen. Auch die Pools mit Thermalwasser haben uns gut gefallen, der Außenpool liegt an einer befahrenen Straße. Das Frühstück (Büffet mit Bestelloption von Kaffee und Eierspeisen) mit teilweise regionalen Produkten fanden wir auch sehr gut.

Best Hotel Stay
This was the best hotel stay my husband and I have ever had. The staff went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. We were here for our honeymoon and they made such a big deal for us that we felt like celebrities. Great place to stay.

Amazing property. The staff was great and very helpful. Such a cool experience. Breakfast was fantastic. The only negative we found was the cost of dinner and drinks. While they were exceptional the area surrounding the hotel was not really up to par for the prices they were charging at the hotel.

This is the best hotel in Furnas. Amazing service and attention to detail. The thermal pools, sauna and Turkish bath are amazing. The breakfast buffet is really amazing and plentiful. You can create your own tea, they have assorted milks, fresh juice and coffee. They have fresh options for all diets. The vibe of this hotel is unmatched. We had the best massage, scrub and facial at the spa and loved the relaxed out of the way amenities. This place makes you feel like you are in a luxurious garden get away.

Unlike the Octant Ponta Delgada, the spa was much larger, nicer and did not require reservations. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only issue was our room, 120, was right next to the road and traffic noise was annoying. Ask to not be placed there.

Staff were all hepful and very approachable! Loved the thermal baths and spa: in general the resort was very relaxing with serene feel, food was great (free breakfast was plentiful) and great setting. Special thanks to Monica who served us at dinner for 2 nights!

Amazing thermal pool
This hotel used to be a public hospital which was converted into a hotel. With what they had to work with, they did an amazing job! However, be aware that the rooms are very small. The service was impeccable. The staff was always available to help. The only reason to stay here is the large thermal pool. At $300 (US Dollars) one could go elsewhere. But if you want to use the pool, this is very appropriate. Breakfast was AMAZING !!! Dinner was not so good. The location was ideal.

Tres bon séjour
Tres bon séjour ! Le personnel accueillant et serviable . La chambre propre et confortable. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et varié. Le restaurant succulent !

The hotel pools incorporate the natural iron water from surrounding hot springs - it was exceptional and definitely worth experiencing. Beautiful hotel and great breakfast. A very special place.
