Located probably in the best and panoramic area of Praiano, Villa il Sogno, this wonderful private villa offers to its guest amazing sea and coast views, the ideal place to just come and relax admiring the blue sea. Just below the property by climbing communal staircase of about 250 steps is possible to reach a sunbathing terrace on cliff.

The house is just about 400 meters from the center of Praiano, a small fishing village made up of houses scattered along the ridge of Monte S. Angelo which ends in the intense blue sea, at Capo Sottile. Here guests will find all kind of services needed such as restaurants, supermarkets bank etc.

The villa has a private outdoor area made of garden and terraces of about 400 sq. offering marvellous views of the sea, Praiano, and the entire Coast arriving to Positano and Capri.

the first part of the garden is about 240 sqm. and is the main entrance of the property, this area is partially shaded with bamboo pergola, equipped with elegant garden furniture, barbecue, table and chairs for al fresco meals.

9 steps below will find the second terrace/garden, and is about 160 sqm. here we find the private swimming pool (5x3 x 1.40), with sun lounges and umbrellas, a part of this garden his planted with seasonal vegetable which will be available for guests.

The property on its inside is about 110 sqm. The house is bright, spacious and comfortable, with high ceiling vaults and elegant and welcoming furnishings.

The floors are tiled with shimmering majolica tiles. The entrance is from the main garden and leads into a very large and bright living area with sofas and arm chairs sat TV, dining table for 6 people, kitchen fully equipped with electric oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and other appliances. The kitchen has also a direct access to the garden.

From the living room a corridor leads to two bedrooms both with double beds and direct access to garden, there are two bathrooms one with shower and washing machine and the other with Jacuzzi bath. The house is fully air conditioned and has internet wifi.

Access: The Villa is situated below the main street of Praiano, the road that links all of the Amalfi Coast villages. It is reached by walking along a pedestrian street of about 400 meters and includes approximately 160 stairway steps.
To stay at this villa a car is not necessary. The stop for the buses that go to Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi or to the other coastal towns, can be found within 400 meters away from the house (included the 160 stairway steps).

Distances: A little supermarket, at a short distance from the villa, is well stocked and provides nearly everything one would need.
The local mini-shuttle bus which runs from Praiano to Positano and the SITA bus that connect all the villages along the Amalfi coast, stop at the beginning of the flight of stairs leading down to the villa.
The pebble beach at La Praia, at the feet of two tall rocky walls, is home to several restaurants offering excellent local cuisine, boat hire service and a sub-aqua school.

To reach the beach of La Praia, it is possible and convenient to take the local minibus which runs constantly within and around Praiano.

If you do not have a problem with climbing steps, another place to go is the beach called “Gavitella”, a charming small beach, located at the bottom of a small and verdant rocky inlet.
The beach houses a restaurant with beach facilities which is open during the summer season. The beach of La Gavitella can be reached either on foot, walking along a path that includes about 350 steps, or in a comfortable and suggestive way by sea. Indeed, during the good season a ferry service with small boats operates to this beach both from the beach of the Praia and from the beach of Positano. The service is complimentary for customers of the facilities or of the restaurant at the Gavitella.

Both Amalfi and Positano there are ferries, hydrofoils and mini-cruises to visit other villages along the coast as well as to the Islands of Capri and Ischia, to Sorrento, Naples etc. and also rent boats to explore the surrounding coastline, and visit the many small grottoes along the coast.

Rental Rules
Check in: from 15:00 to 20:00
After 20:00 until midnight a late check-in fee of € 50 applies and it has to be paid locally.
Check out: by 10:00
A refundable security deposit of € 300 will be required upon arrival and it will be returned upon departure less any charges in case of damage to the property.

Extra cost to paid locally:
Electricity and air conditioning/heating is included in the rental price up to 200 kwh per week. (Extra on consumption: €0.42 per kwh)
Final cleaning Euro 220,00 including mid-week change of towels and end-of-week cleaning with change of linens and towels
Tourist tax Euro 3,00 per person per day (children up to 10 years are exempt).
