Vintage Periode huis met Old Fashion Architectural Charm

Luxe 4 slaapkamer huis 3 ligbaden is een Vintage droomhuis in een rustige gemeenschap. Het huis is 4200 vierkante ft. , Heeft een houten gewelfd plafond, dubbele kroonlijsten, commerical rang toestellen in de keuken, oud Spaans tegels en marmer met een flair van elegantie in alle badkamers. De 2 verhaal thuis is meer dan 100 jaar oud met cipressen hardhouten vloeren en houten boog plafonds. Er is een mooie kroonluchter en marmer open haard gelegen in de mooie foyer. Het huis ligt op 3 hectaren land, dat grenst aan een water-park, restaurantjes en veel winkelcentra. De garage heeft een grote media-kamer, met een complete badkamer, en grote bar. Er is ook een klein huisje met alle ammenties. Het is de perfecte omgeving om te ontspannen en onderhoudend.

Beyond perfect!

We held our microwedding here and it was absolutely perfect. The pictures do not do the house justice! It was clean, beyond well stocked, and the hosts were a joy to work with. The house itself is beautiful, and the media room was perfect for the Bachelorette party. I cannot recommend this location enough! Oh, and the location is perfectly situated! Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home. It truly was petfect!

Perfect Wedding Weekend!

This beautiful home was home base for our daughter's bridal party for the wedding weekend. It was the perfect backdrop for pictures as they dressed for the wedding, and there was plenty of room for everyone to get dressed. Everyone commented on how much they loved it! Small Family celebration

My family got together to celebrate my aunt's 55th birthday. A total of 9 adults and one 8 month old stayed on the property. We took advantage of the media room on Saturday to watch College football. The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the charcoal grill to cook dinner on Saturday night. We were also pleased to see the baby bed and high chair since we had an infant with us. Melvin made the check-in process very simple and made sure we were familiar with everything on the property before he left. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Exactly what we needed

We were vacationing in Baton Rouge to visit family and wanted to find something that was close enough to Baton Rouge and New Orleans but not downtown this was perfect. The pictures were exactly as advertised. It was very hot during our stay (10+ days with heat index over 110) - and the AC's worked brilliantly! On our first day we had a couple of questions - both John (owner) and Melvin (caretaker) responded to my text within 10 min and were super helpful. John checked in on us during the stay to make sure things were going well. Very responsive and is an owner who clearly prioritizes their guests. I would definitely consider staying here again

Wedding Party

I and my family and the wedding party stayed at this wonderful house for 4 nights. The kitchen was wonderful for group meals with lots of refrigerator and cupboard space, and the stove and huge oven where great. We had the Rehersal dinner for m y daughters wedding out on the covered patio which worked out well. The entire house was well appointed with everything we needed and the beds and linens where very comfortable. The Movie room was so much fun for everyone and the hot tub was much appreciated after several long days. The location is also great. A short hour drive to downtown new orleans and 15 minutes to Baton Rouge mad it easy for us to pick up family from the airport and the wedding venue at The Houmas House was only 25 minutes away. It all worked out well and I love the vintage architecture and grounds. Thank you So much for a wonderful time!!

Great place for Bride & Bridesmaids to get ready

What a wonderful place for my daughter & her bridesmaids to stay & get ready for her wedding day! The house is beautiful & there was lots of room to have hair & makeup done there the morning of the wedding. The grounds also made for some lovely pictures too! Checkin & checkout was very convenient. We would highly recommend this property!
