The pictures don't do the view justice. Absolutely gorgeous. The accommodations were five star+ with every attention to detail. Extremely well stocked gourmet kitchen, beautiful interior decor befitting the location. The entire family all agreed that if we come back to Kuai, they want to stay here again.

Best place, best view
We love this spot, every piece of furniture and decor are perfect. I could sit and all day and think we did and stare out at the view and watch the weather, surfers, waterfalls change throughout the day.

This place was absolutely stunning
We were a family of 6 - with 2 teenagers. Intimate sunsets from the back patio, well kept and beautiful inside of the condo. And easy access to the pool and beach. I wish we could buy this place. I still have the picture from the backyard on my phone - it’s a little bit of heaven on Earth. Don’t hesitate, rent this place!

Perfect for Families!
The property was beautiful; the unit is darker than photographed, but the view is priceless and the decor is cute! We rented a mini pool for our toddlers, filled it up, and they played on the grass in the back. Perfect for kids and a great location! There were a few maintenance issues (washer/AC/ a clogged sink), but Becky had maintenance there to fix it within hours of arrival.

Simply amazing
We have been to Kauai many times and wish we had found this place sooner. The views and peacefulness were amazing. It’s not your crowed resort party scene, but rather a relax and chill vibe to enjoy the scenery. Beach access was easy (maybe a shuttle needed for older guests). Condo set up was perfect for a large family needing 3 private bedrooms. Owners were super easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

My family loved the spacious condo with killer views of the Napali Coast from everywhere in the condo. Three spacious bedrooms with their own baths. Full access to resort amenities including bar and pool and hot tub and tennis and a nice snorkeling beach.

Everything We Hoped
My number one priority for our trip to Kauai was the view and comfortable outside lounging for 5. I read all the reviews of this property and looked at every picture from every angle because honestly the views looked too good to be true. Well, let me report that the views are in fact better than the pictures. The living spaces are lovely and thoughtfully curated. The kitchen has everything you could want. And if you love a long morning coffee routine, you will be in heaven. We are all convinced that there could not possibly be a better value on the Island!

Magic in Hanalei Bay
This might be our favorite property we have ever rented through VRBO. We really struggled between choosing this property and one on Hanalei Bay Beach. We were so happy with our choice. We arrived after dark and settled into our condo. The space was perfect--we are a family of 5, two teen girls and one teen boy. The bedroom arrangement was perfect for us. Our teen boy was especially happy with his king bed suite at the end of the unit! The next morning, we were in awe of what lay before us: the most beautiful view of Hanalei Bay and the Napali Coast's green, majestic mountains. Breathtaking! We spent quiet mornings with coffee and visits from the chickens and roosters. We were sure to be back at our condo by sunset. Just stunning. This condo has THE BEST VIEW of the resort. We loved the ground floor and grassy lawn, felt "homey" and private. This condo is within Hanalei Bay Resort. It's perfection. Numerous tennis courts, meticulous grounds, and a wonderful pool with waterfalls with little nooks to explore. The restaurant on-site, "Happy Talk," was fabulous, and they offered nightly live entertainment. We enjoyed the tropical path down to the beach and base of Hanalei 1 Hotel (a 10-minute walk) for daily exercise and one day enjoyed their hotel's fancy breakfast one morning. The Muxlows provided everything to make our stay so comfortable, including tennis racquets, beach chairs and more. We really appreciated the sweet welcome gift-we cannot wait to return!!

Amazing views
We had a great visit to North shore and this place has the best view at night for amazing sunsets and looking out over the bay. The kitchen is a tad small for cooking larger meals but worked great for our group. House came with beach chairs, beach wagon and umbrella was a bonus. The owners were very helpful before and during our trip. Lovely stay.

The view from this property is second to none. I wanted to spend my entire time just gazing out on the mountain and the bay. The condo was comfortable, well decorated and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the owner double booked us with another family and we wound up having to change our entire planned trip to the area to accommodate the snafu. This caused us to miss out on a great property in Poipu and put a damper on our trip. I would highly recommend the property. Just make sure you communicate directly with the owners and not rely on the booking system through VRBO.

My husband and I have been coming to Princeville for the last ten plus years, but have always stayed at the hotel next door. Now that we are traveling with three children (aged 4, 5 & 6) staying in a hotel was no longer convenient. We were absolutely thrilled with this property, the view was even better than from the hotel next door, the place was spotless & just absolutely stunning and the decor so well thought out, and the resort itself was incredible. It was so nice to have a kitchen, laundry etc too. We also loved being able to text the resort, to order a golf cart to and from the beach. Our family can be hard to please, and everyone absolutely loved it so much we booked to come back again in 3 months. Thank you for a wonderful stay Andy & Becky, we can’t wait to come back!

Truly paradise!
I did extensive research trying to find the ideal property for our dream vacation. In the past we’ve stayed many times at the Princeville hotel which is now being rebuilt. Hanalei Bay Resorts and the future One Hotel Hanalei are the two properties with the best incredible Hanalei Bay views. I chose a Muxlow’s beautiful property because of all the amenities they provide, the qualities of the furnishings and upgrades, and most of all because their units have the absolute closest, most direct views of Hanalei Bay in the entire resort . It was absolutely wonderful. My kids enjoyed the boogie boards and we were thankful for the yeti cooler they generously shared as well as the washer and dryer inside the unit. The Muxlow‘s were wonderful. Their communication was excellent . I’m so glad we chose this property!

Location over the bay was perfect. We used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch several times and all appliances (including washer and dryer) were new and home was current with wi-fi plugs ins and smart TV’s. Especially nice to sleep with doors open and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Communicated with the owners a couple of times and their response was immediate. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful property in an ideal location at the tip of Princeville. Easy walk down to the beach to swim, surf, or hike. Unit is fully stocked will all possible needs - kitchen has cooking supplies for eating in as well beach and tennis equipment. Beautiful view from all bedrooms and living room. The view is amazing. Sunrise, sunsets, rain, waterfalls after rain. Really amazing. Condo is great, very comfortable. Only thing "negative" to note really is it is the bottom unit of a three level building. There is some noise from above if folks are there. This was a minor thing for us. Bottome line: A great place to stay.

It was wonderful , as everyone has said.....having morning coffee on the patio, enjoying the rainbows, the mountains and the waves. The view is what it’s all about!
We enjoyed our four days at this property very much. The view from each window is breathtaking and the morning visits from the Nene’s was a pleasant surprise. The unit had everything we needed. Our visit was in September 2021 and we did hear some construction noise during the day from the hotel being built on the next lot. It’s 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay and slated to open in late Spring 2022. We would definitely recommend this beautifully appointed home for a stay!

Dream Vacation
This property was perfect for our family of 6. After a few nights at a high priced resort on Maui, we arrived at this condo and it immediately felt like home. The decor is absolutely stunning, and the condo has anything you would need-and then some more. The views from the condo are incredible. We never got tired of looking at the ever changing mountains outside the unit! The condo complex itself was beautifully maintained and had a really nice pool and beach area. We also enjoyed the tennis courts, and they opened up the Happy Talk restaurant towards the end of our stay and it was delicious. So thankful we found this gorgeous condo for our vacation!

Spectacular place, hosts, and location
We absolutely loved our stay. The unit was perfect, as was our experience at it. You can tell the owners care greatly about it. They dote on it - and on their renters. I mean that in the best way possible. It was literally home for our 10+ day trip. We'll be back. Also, the view from the unit of Hanalei Bay is ridiculous. I've heard others say it's the best view on Kauai - and I can't see how that isn't true. It's hard to believe. When I sent pics to friends, they asked if I had photographed a postcard. Just amazing.

Everything was 5 Stars
Everything about our stay was amazing. Just like other reviews stated, the view is incredible and pictures don't do it justice. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio having coffee in the mornings and cocktails at sunset. I have done quite a bit of traveling and this is one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed. It was perfect for our 2 families of 4. Beds were so comfortable. The resort is beautiful and exactly what you envision when you think of Hawaii. The only negatives were that the swim-up bar was still closed from Covid as was the Happy Talk Lounge. The beach is a bit of a walk but the resort does a good job of shuttling people up and down. I prefer to experience different places, but if I ever traveled back to Kauai I would want our family to stay in this exact unit!!! Thanks so much to the Muxlows for allowinging us to rent this awesome condo.

Beautiful units with an AMAZING view!
Aloha! This is paradise found. These units (9104,5,6) are clean and beautifully decorated. The view is the most amazing view I have ever had from a vacation rental. It was just truly breath taking. The Hanalei Bay staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The property is clean and beautiful and just a short distance from dining and shopping on my favorite part of the island. The Muxlow family provide an amazing Kauai experience with their beautifully decorated, cozy home. The condo is spacious and luxurious, every detail and need is taken care of, and the view from the condo is THE BEST in Hanalei...no exaggeration! We loved soaking in the pool, enjoying sunsets from the condo's back patio, playing tennis on the many tennis courts on the resort property, and using the walking trail to walk to the beach to snorkel. It was a vacation we will never forget, and honestly, worth every penny! Thank you, Muxlow family, for sharing your Kauai treasure with us!

Best condo on the North Shore!
We were fortunate enough to book HBR 9104/05/06 for our trip last week. We have stayed at this resort before but this unit is by far the nicest condo in the resort and possible the north shore of Kauai. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything is top notch. The views are out of this world, the beds are super comfortable, the furniture is exquisite, the kitchen is outfitted with the nicest appliances and cook wear, and don't even get me started on the best towels in the world! If you can actually find an opening on the calendar for this unit, book it immediately. You will not want to leave. It's heaven on earth.
