Voor pasgetrouwden, pas verliefd, bruiloft op het strand, voor buitenliefhebbers en mensen die gewoon willen ontspannen, staat deze speciale plek erom bekend dat je verliefd wordt. Wanneer de dag komt om naar huis te gaan, zijn de vreugde die je vindt de herinneringen die je hebt gecreëerd en je kunt niet wachten om je volgende vakantie hier zo snel mogelijk te boeken.

Je wordt wakker om de geweldige zonsopgang te vangen, terwijl je op de Lanai zit met je kopje vers gezette lokale koffie. Overweegt welke avonturen we vandaag zullen verkennen. We beginnen met een wandeling langs de baai van Hanalei voor onze ochtendwandeling, vinden onze favoriete café's voor het ontbijt of pakken lekker fruit van de lokale boerenmarkt, om te eten in het appartement. Ik haal ook vers gesneden tropische bloemen op de boerenmarkt, om toe te voegen aan alle Plumeria-geur die ons appartement omhelst. Misschien wat golf vandaag? Snorkelen op Ke'e Beach aan het einde van de weg?

Of we pakken onze geïsoleerde rugzakken in met genoeg goodies om een hele dag op het strand door te brengen, om te spelen in de branding, paddleboarden of gewoon genieten van de schoonheid die je omarmt. Kinderen, honden, volwassenen stoeien in de baai, kijken naar de anderen die langs de oude Hanalei-pier slenteren, foto's maken, kinderen springen in de baai, gelach en geluiden van opwinding in overvloed. Dan kijk je omhoog naar deze majestueuze berg waar de kroon zich altijd verbergt in de wolk, met witte linten van watervallen die naar beneden vallen, tegen groen fluweel. Je gaat gewoon achterover zitten, haalt diep adem en zegt: 'Wauw, ik leef mijn droom!'

This beautiful condo was a wonderful stay away from home. It is sitting right on the 15th hole of the golf course with a view of the ocean. The trade winds keep the cool air flowing through this unit and has a very nice and very private lanai where you can bird watch, drink coffee, eat meals, watch the sunrise over the ocean and breath in the lovely tropical air. Keep the screen doors closed as there are ghecko's, they are cute and friendly. There are cardinals, geese, egrets all over the course. And the true treasure which absolutely made our trip worth while was the baby albatross (Mukalele) nested in view of our lanai. We watched her stretch out her wings, preen and be fed by both parents. I cried when we had to leave her behind... We wished her a safe flight around August and when she is fully ready to fly. It was a true nature show here. We found peace here. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderous place and our hostess, Pamela. We recommend Wishing well shave ice, coffee and Acai bowls for breakfast. We found local farms stands, and shopped the local shops and snorkeled both Tunnels and Anini beaches. We watched the sun set on Hanalei pier and enjoyed the Brazillian food truck as well as Holy Grail Donuts. Life on Kauai doesn't get better than this. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom and shower. it has two very nice lanai area's and an extended living area. Thank you (Mahalo) Pamela... So very much!

The location of our stay was perfect. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Not having A/C was not really an issue as we went in November and the tradewinds along with fans located in the unit were more than helpful. There were a Lot of notes/Post-Its located around the unit which was a little overwhelming and privacy felt like bit of an issue as the owner was staying right next door, however she was very nice and helpful. The walls are very thin and the only real place to change is in the bathroom. The property itself is very quite which makes for easy sleeping at night. The unit is a bit dated but they have kept it up nicely. All-in-All I would recommend staying here.

We loved this condo! It was the perfect location with great ocean views. Easy central spot to navigate around the North Shore. Clean & quiet. We enjoyed sleeping with the patio doors open and bedroom windows for a nice cross breeze. Would stay here again!

Memories for a Lifetime! The condo is very beautiful and in a very tranquil setting, it’s a really peaceful spot!!! We absolutely loved the condo, the setting, how it is equipped, and how peaceful the surrounding areas are! Lots of light, and it provides everything you need! The fans and open patio doors provided plenty of ventilation to feel comfortable (no AC- but it was ok). Anyhow we felt right at home, and will probably return someday! It was a special memorable sister time for us! Mahalo N&C

The house is very beautiful and the surroundings are incredible. We had a great time there. If there are any problems, Pamela is available immediately and solves the problem. Excellent. Anini Beach in particular would be a very special place for us.

This condo sits right on the 15th green of the Princeville golf course, which is a perfect place to watch the sunrise in Kauai. It's in a perfect location, close to everything on the North shore. The amenities were a blessing, having boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler make this condo perfect for your vacation. Would definately stay here again!!

The property is very clean and I totally enjoyed my stay. My only criticisms would be that the front door lock needs some attention, there should be some beach towels or mention that you need to bring your own, and the bedroom closet is 80% filled with the owners' belongings. Other than that, I had an awesome stay and would highly recommend this VRBO.

My wife and I came here on our 10-year anniversary and it did not disappoint! The neighborhood was generally very quiet throughout the day and night, and filled with the chickens that roam the island. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony and soaking in the beautiful views of the golf course and ocean. The house is perfectly furnished for a relaxing time, and the beach accessories made available by Pamela were incredibly helpful and appreciated! When the windows and glass doors were open, the breeze throughout the building felt great and cooled down very quickly. The general location of the home is perfect for going anywhere on the island and we were able to see much of what the island has to offer. Overall, it was a great stay and we would highly recommend it to any low maintenance couples out there!

My wife and I celebrated our twenty year anniversary at this beautiful condo! As advertised- it was right on the golf course with a stunning view of the ocean. It was tucked away about 5 minutes into the Princeville area. Easy access to the local town shopping center (walkable- but would take about 15 minutes). They had all the beach amenities to use, kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies along with washer/ dryer if needing to do a load of laundry. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay and a great place to set out on adventures. We enjoyed the peaceful golf course view and ocean in the distance as well as the chicken visitors. Condo was clean and well provided for.

The apartment is in a great neighborhood and a beautiful view and location. The owner is amazing very flexible, allowing us to switch the dates of our stay. She responded very promptly and was so kind to send over some recommendations as well. The house itself is a bit run down, and there was a left over dishes, laundry, items in the fridge left from previous guests which was less than ideal. There also was an ant problem which I could tell is probably common in the area especially with the whether and there was traps set up to help.

Property is beautiful - a great location within minutes of the ocean with a scenic overlook! A couple of things to note - The front door did not fully lock. There are "2" doors locking this property - a metal framed exterior door and an interior conventional wooden door. The interior wooden door did not lock but had a note from housekeeping denoting that homeowner was made aware of this. This would have been good to know prior to our arrival. Never felt unsafe or caused issue, but given a locking front door is a key safety feature this would have been nice to know. Additionally, all of the curtains in this condo are sheer, and therefore it is not the most private. It has no secondary window treatments to cover over the sheer so keep this in mind when considering this property as well. Smaller things like fans not working were not big issues, but when we intentionally chose this property without air conditioning it would have been nice to have all fans working - especially in the bedroom. Overall it was a great launchpad for all of our island activities.
