Many thanks to Eddie and Henry the servers and chef who cooked our "catch of the day" for three days on the row. Chelsea,the receptionist helped us booking another 2 days and we didn't have to move the another room. The pools were very clean and the breakfast was delicious. 'We were only passing through for a night but this place was amazing! Vincent was super helpful with restaurant suggestions and there were a few great places within a 5 minute walking distance. 'Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

'The swim up pool bar was great, the seaside grill also decent food and drinks. Spa was very good. Service from reception was limited at times, although there was one of the concierges who was very good. Careful of the voucher for discount on spa or experiences -check with them about activities being applicable. Some of the food for breakfast and at the asian restaurant wasn't great.'

'bij het ontbijt kreeg je 1 sneetje brood en als je om meer vroeg dan moest er 3 dollar voor 1 sneetje bij betaald worden. De 1 na laatste dag kwam de insectenbestrijding, terwijl we een dag later zouden vertrekken met als gevolg het hele huisje onder de kakkerlakken. Het strand was verwaarloosd. Het hele huisje was niet goed onderhouden. Wel een goede ligging bij het strand, maar helaas wordt daar weinig meegedaan. Er zou een hele hoop meer mee gedaan kunnen worden met dit complex.'

'Gorgeous, isolated place with friendly staff and easy access to beautiful beaches. Prepare yourself for the drive in, which is on a dirt road with lots of holes. If you rent a car, get the insurance. Lots of restaurants nearby you can drive to or catch one of their mini-taxis. The free breakfast is delicious, and the views are awesome. The hotel design and architecture are definitely very different and fun. '

'The property is a short walk from the stunning beach, some of our favorite restaurants. This is a very new and exceptionally well-designed hotel. The rooms are fantastic, everything is brand new and visually pleasing. The pool area and cabanas are wonderful too. Staff is very friendly and supportive.
