'Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

'An unforgettable stay at Sendero Nosara I absolutely loved my stay! It’s perfectly located in the heart of Nosara. It’s just steps from the beach and within walking distance of amazing shops and restaurants. I came here to destress from busy city life, and the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. 'Amazing and welcoming staff, great food, clean and well appointed room with super comfy linens, pillows and bed! Slept so great, and with Ocean view room heard the waves whether door open or closed. Loved our stay here! Appreciated the refillable bottles of water, the fridge and hot water kettle. The whole Hotel is gorgeous and right next to two Beaches. This is an older Hotel (didn’t mind or notice) but because of the Conservation Area, they’re not allowed to make further upgrades. Stay...

'Loved our stay at Hotel Guiones. Spaciale was a terrific host. Such a great Nosara vibe - very jungly, beautiful pool, restaurant, close to the beach, well stocked with drinks, paths around the rooms were well maintained and we loved our room - unusual to find a place with 3 beds. But our little patio was the best (see photo). Highly recommend!'
