Welkom bij "Casa Azul" in Esmeralda Resort !!
Casa Azul biedt je een volledig ontspannen ervaring voor die welverdiende pauze!
Gelegen in Esmeralda Resort, een omheind, 24/7 beveiligd klein strandcomplex van momenteel slechts 36 eenheden. Helemaal weg van het lawaai en de drukte! Het complex biedt u ook een van de grootste zwembaden in Sandy Beach en de beste locatie om de verbazingwekkende Sea of Cortes Sunsets te zien vanuit het comfort van uw uitgebreide en ruime balkon.
Mijn appartement biedt u een zeer open leefruimte van 2.284 vierkante voet. Zowel de slaapkamer als de woonkamer hebben toegang tot het balkon en kijken ook uit op het strand.
Het ontwerp in de open lucht met gewelfde plafonds, kamerhoge ramen en de op maat gemaakte moderne en goed ingerichte meubels zorgen voor een gemakkelijk leven en amusement met vrienden en familie. Het appartement heeft luidsprekers in elke kamer en balkon, zodat u op elke gewenste plek van uw favoriete muziek kunt genieten.
De woonkamer biedt u zeer comfortabele banken en stoelen. Er is een 65-inch smart-scherm met een Apple TV.
De twee slaapkamers hebben een comfortabel kingsize bed, elk met een smart-tv van 40 inch en een Apple TV met toegang tot Netflix en alle functies die Apple biedt. Er is ook een queensize opblaasmatras beschikbaar voor nog twee gasten (maximaal 6)
Dineer binnen in de formele eetkamer aan een glazen tafel (6 zitplaatsen) of aan de buitentafel om naar de sterren te kijken.
De gastronomische keuken met roestvrijstalen apparaten en granieten werkbladen is volledig gevuld met alle gemakken.
Het appartement biedt ook een 2. 5 badkamers. de hoofddouches en wastafels zijn bedekt met marmer.
Het balkon biedt een ontspannen omgeving om te genieten van een gesprek, een boek te lezen, wat zon te krijgen; of dineren. Er is een tafel voor 4 personen, een zithoek voor 4 personen en drie loungestoelen.
De flat heeft een nest gecontroleerd temperatuursysteem. Er zijn plafondventilatoren in elke slaapkamer en LR, en extra vloerventilatoren in elk gebied om het appartement comfortabel te houden, zelfs op die hete zomerdag!
Dit is een geweldige optie voor een onvergetelijke familievakantie; een romantisch uitje of een uitstapje met vrienden.

We loved our stay! The beds were a little uncomfy but a few drinks in and you wont care. Lol! The outdoor furniture and mini fridges need updated. Great views! Wish the resort had more finished amenities but still great for a wknd.

Good Location With a Few Inconveniences

The condominium itself is nice and comfortable, but in my opinion, the kitchen could be better equipped. The toaster didn’t work, and most of the pans were scratched, making it difficult to cook. The beach in front of the resort is quite rocky, so it’s not the easiest for swimming or walking barefoot.While the location does offer a beach view, it’s also partially obstructed by nearby construction and a desert landscape—so it’s not a full beach view as we expected. The resort is beautiful overall, but compared to other places we’ve stayed in Rocky Point, it’s missing some family-friendly attractions and activities.One thing that surprised us was the detailed checkout checklist. We were asked to wash the dishes, place all used towels in the washer, clean the countertops, take out the trash, close all the blinds, and turn off the A/C before leaving. While we always respect and take care of the properties we stay in, this was the first time we encountered such an extensive list—especially after paying a cleaning fee. It just felt a bit excessive compared to our past experiences with other condos in the area.

Overall the stay was great. There was a broken vanity in one of the batjrooms which i immediately sent over a picture tonthe owner. Pot and pans should be newer and there should have had more shower towels available or at least some laundry soap to wash them. The base on the tv was super load and hard to adjust. But overall was a great stay

Great get-away on Sandy Beach

The space is beautiful, we enjoyed the pools on property and loved sitting at Diego's right at the pool area. Diego's is a lovely space, attentive and friendly stayy eith good food and drinks. We also walked to Wrecked at the Reef. Almost a mile (wear sunscreen!) But it was a fun beach walk! Definetly recommend.

Relaxing stay

Nice condo with plenty of room for our group. Great views of the beach and pool from the living room and balcony. You can hear the live bands at Diegos while relaxing on the patio. The owner is very responsive and helpful. I look forward to the additions to this resort.

Five stars for the unit and owner, but not the resort

Overall we had a fabulous stay and would maybe stay here again. Victor, the owner, is awesome! Great communication and got back to us right away when we had questions on operating things in the unit. And the unit itself was gorgeous. Plenty of room for all five of us and could comfortably fit more. The view from the balcony is by far the best we’ve had at any property on Sandy Beach. And having Diego’s on-site was perfect! But, the property overall is definitely not five stars. It is still under construction, with some units in the finished towers still being worked on. There is a ton of security, which is good except they seem more concerned with food around the pool than anything else. And you have to ask for everything…pool umbrellas are not put out unless you ask. And girlie are not allowed on the balcony units, which makes sense. You have to request one from the property….but they don’t have one because it was damaged in a storm a couple of months ago and never replaced. So overall a good place if you can overlook the little annoying property management issues.

We enjoyed our stay here. The king beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Enough towels for everyone. Views were stunning. Washer and dryer and DW in the condo. Plenty of room on the balcony for everyone to sit and enjoy. The condo has beautiful architecture. The kitchen has basic tools for cooking, which we used. Diegos Tiki bar has good food and drinks, it can be somewhat noisy in the evenings until 10pm. The sliding glass doors are heavy and block the sound if you don't like it. Victor was responsive to all our questions. We would stay here again.

What happened here?!

The property manager VERY good at communication before our stay. We were a little shocked at how much damage the rental had: missing chairs/decor in the great room, many screws on the wall for missing pictures, bi-fold door to the bathroom gone, the fridge ice/water dispenser was broken, the washing machine worked only on the short cycle, drywall damage, patio wet-bar not working, kitchen window was open but wouldn’t shut, ceiling fan on the patio is gone with wires hanging out and more lightbulbs burned out than I can count. The Esmeralda Resort property is about 25% finished so there is only 1 pool and a very small Tiki restaurant/bar. The pool was nice but offered only a very few stiff wood plank chairs with no cushion & 3 umbrellas for the whole pool deck. The hot tub looked brand new but was not heated. The owner left nice beach towels & chairs. The kitchen was well stocked with all “the things”, I was disappointed that we found out the day before check in that we were not allowed to use the master bathroom bathtub due to town code for water conservation. Overall, this place looks like it could be amazing again with some basic maintenance, it does not look like the description pictured anymore. I feel bad for the owner, he likely paid 600K and poured his heart & soul into it for it to be trashed.

My family and I arrived expecting to check in at 2 PM as it was stated. When we got up to the condo housekeeping was just starting to clean the condo. We waited almost 2 hours before we can actually get into our condo. When we got into the condo the floors were soaking wet and the kitchen was a mess. The second day at the property the elevator stopped working. We had to use the stairs for the rest of the day. Day number three my son and I got stuck in the elevator for almost 35 minutes. There was no water pressure in either one of the showers just a slight drizzle. Dana number two

Frequent visitors to Rocky Point - first stay at this resort. Unit is nice with beautiful ocean view. Bar/restaurant was nice to have close with live music. Complex is safe and quiet after 10. The resort itself lacks appeal - half completed construction projects are an eyesore. Very limited shade, 1 pool……. Just really sub par. The unit is great though and the owner was responsive and easy to work with. Hopefully, the new ownership will improve the resort and finish all the construction!

Decent stay

Overall this is a decent place to stay and a good location for a relaxed vacation. The condo itself is pretty with a nice kitchen, living space, and balcony. Unfortunately the stove wasn't working which we discovered our first morning. The owner was quick to get someone out to fix the problem which was able to at least get us working burners. We did attempt to use the master bath that has jets. The jets didn't work more that 5 seconds at a time, so just relied on community hottub after that. The water pressure is low as well. One of our days the water had to be shut off for a few hours due to a leak upstairs. My only complaint regarding that is there wasn't much communication with that being done. We did have a blind string break on us while just trying to lower the blind to one of the front windows. I was a little disappointed that we were told checkout time was 11:00 am but the website states a 12:00pm checkout. Otherwise, community pool, hottub, and the little restaurant attached was great and being on the ocean made all the little nuisances not so bad.
