This unit has an amazing ocean view from the 9th floor and a view of the swimming pools. The pools are illuminated at night, and it is just beautiful. The unit faces south, so you can see some of the sunset to the west from the balcony. There is plenty of space for two couples with two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, plus a half bath. The kitchen is well-stocked with things for someone who likes to cook. There are plenty of seasonings. The unit is quite a distance from Puerto Penasco, and the closest restaurant is a 5-minute drive to the east at the Mayan Palace resort. The Mayan Palace prices are higher than the norm, so you may want to drive back to Puerto Penasco for meals if you do not plan on cooking. This unit is good for folks who just want to enjoy the beach, pools, and each other's company. There are not really any other activities available here, but that was great for us, as we wanted to avoid the chaos of spring break in Puerto Penasco. It was also 20-25 degrees cooler than Phoenix during our stay due to the ocean breezes. It is fairly breezy there, but that makes for good parasailing. We enjoyed watching the daily parasailers going past the balcony. The unit is managed by a property management company, and they were responsive to service needs.
