'Being “perfectly located” in Old San Juan means you’re within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, historic sites (forts, plazas, cathedrals), and shops. 'The stay was ok although I made a reservation for one room and they switched me to another. Same happened with another family member. Also it would have been nice to have some complimentary bottled water. The sink was also way too small. So it was a room good enough to sleep in but not necessary one comfortable enough to relax in. '

'Marly and her father Mr. J.R. were incredibly hospitable and had my room ready earlier than expected, which allowed me to rest after travel. 'My husband and two daughters and I came to see San Juan for the first time. We enjoyed the walkable area of Old San Juan! This is a wonderful spot to stay. The host was very responsive and gave great recommendations.'

'A piece of Old San Juan character. Location was centric, close to entertainment and restaurants. Walking distance to everything in Old San Juan. Even with the limitations that the Island might suffer from electricity and water, our host ensured we were cared for by providing water jugs. Very pleased with our stay.'

'This house is very, very nice. Thr pictures are accurate. House is well stocked. Kitchen could use a few more pans for cooking but that is really just a personal want. Man i have been to many beaches around the world...and this beach is perhaps the best ive ever been to. 100% clean. No trash. No seaweed. Rocks? Not a 1. Clear water? Check. 'Large property right across the street from the beach. Lots of activities on the property including a large pool. Bathrooms and rooms are a little outdated but in good shape. No A/C but the breeze from the ocean keeps things cool during the evening. The house is from the 50s so its older, but considering all its been through, its in good shape. Lost power on our last night there but this is a common occurrence anywhere you go in PR.'

'The location and property are wonderful. Five stars!!However, the spiral staircase (and it's 22 steps) are narrow. HIGHLY recommend packing small bags with no large/heavy pieces of luggage. We had to unpack the large bags downstairs and then make multiple trips upstairs with our clothing.While there, the Federal government shutdown which closed El Morro, Cristobal, El Yunque and the museums. Fortunately, the two largest malls remained open, and Uber fares were very reasonable. '
