Beautiful weekend getaway with friends and family in the middle of the nature
We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous house which is a perfect blend of rustic and modern in the middle of nature. Couldn't be a better time to visit to view the fall color of the woods surrounding the house. The amenities were top notch and the basement was perfect for some entertainment and games with friends. The only one small negative was we ran out of warm water everyday even after few people took shower but we have no complains given how much we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Michelle is an awesome host and Michael even allowed us to check out late. Would definitely love to come back.

Nice house for groups
Extended family group in the area for a wedding. Hosts were very communicative, house is as advertised. Basement game room was a hit. A bit far from stores, restaurants so plan accordingly.

Great Home for Family Vacation
This was our second stay, and we had just as much fun this time as the first. The house is spacious with plenty of room to accommodate seven adults and six young children (the basement was an awesome play room for the kids). The kitchen was easy to use with plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware, and two dishwashers, plus an extra refrigerator in the basement which came in handy. We only had one issue, but Michelle was easy to reach and quick to handle the problem.

Celebrating Family
We were thrilled with this property! We had a nice quiet retreat but so close to some of our favorite places! We had 14 in our party and the two dishwashers were incredible!!!! We enjoyed the multiple living spaces, indoors and outdoors! The kitchen was very well equipped; best of any property we’ve rented. The beds were comfy, the linens were very nice quality and we had plenty of them! It was a great place to celebrate and make memories together! We would love to go back again!

Big house!
I rented this house for my husband and his twin's 40th birthday. It is a huge house, great for gathering. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and the two dishwashers are nothing short of amazing. There is a creek/river that is so fun to explore around and a big yard to play in. I do wish there was more HVAC control as each bedroom was either very warm or cold. The house itself is truly in the middle of nowhere - which is what we wanted, bring your own food. All the different rooms and levels provided multiple cool nooks to hang out in. This is a great hosting house and the owner was awesome to work with. Would recommend!

I love this house
This was the pefect home to host a weekend trip with 3 families. The house and property were beautiful and serene. Game room was great for the little ones. We made a few big meals and the kitchen had everything we could've wanted. Hope to come again next year.

Loved the place. Tons to do and extremely spacious. The only things for us was the older showers and water was cold when washing up. And the painting in one of the bathrooms on the first floor. Besides that most definitely coming back.

Fall Family Get Away

Beautiful Home
The property met all of the families needs. With different age ranges, everyone found something to do on the outside of the property as well as the inside! This is a great home for entertaining and celebrating with friends and family. There were 11 of us and it was just the right size. If there was an issue, the owner responded immediately. We are going to try and book again for next year. Thank you for providing and allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Fall Break
This property is amazing! The outdoor setting is beautiful and tranquil. We spotted a couple of deer visitors. The indoor space was huge and had lots of activities to keep everyone busy. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated having extra of everything including: dish soap, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable get away. Michelle and Michael were very responsive during our stay.

Outstanding Home on a Peaceful Property
To say we enjoyed our experience at the house would be an understatement. We came with a large group and the house was able to accommodate everyone nicely. The house was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen was stocked with any utensil or appliance you might need. Additionally, the basement had many activities and games to keep everyone busy and the bonfire in the lush backyard was a great way to end the night. Michelle and Mike were very responsive and helpful when a question arose. We would love to return to this home in the future and would highly recommend it to others.

The Gang Vacation
The house was lovely, decorated in a more retro style, but with a very updated kitchen. Very clean and all the bedrooms were a nice size. The screened in porch was great for playing games late at night, though we did the firepit. The owner and property manager were very responsive and pleasant to interact with.

A house for all ages
This house is awesome! The pool and ping pong tables kept the young adults busy after the “old” folks went to sleep. Spacious enough where we didn’t hear a thing upstairs while the kids hung out downstairs. Basketball and tennis, fire pit and a large yard where dogs could roam off leash. Modern kitchen with everything we needed. Great family memories were made visiting Holland, St Joe, Saugatuck and South Haven. Definitely recommend!

Great week together
We found the house to be exactly what we were looking for with a family of eight adults and six young children. Lots of space to spread out, or to gather together when we wanted. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had just about anything you’d want to prepare meals. The plates, glasses and silverware were nice quality and plentiful. Mike was easy to work with and we had a wonderful week!

We had a very enjoyable stay! The house was very clean and ready for us to "move in" for the week. The house was very roomy and accommodated 11 adults very well. Our young adult children LOVED the basement: pool table, ping pong table and poker table. We appreciated the roominess of the home and being able to spread out as needed but could easily come together and play board games, cards and work on our puzzle. We spent a lot of time outside - the grounds are very well kept. We loved the tennis court for pickleball playing and plenty of room to set up our corn hole boards and hammocks. The only "disappointment" was from our fishermen - the river was really more of a stream (in mid-summer) and didn't allow for any fishing. Our interaction with Mike was positive and we had no issues with the property or house. We would love to stay here again.

The house was perfect for our family. So much space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The rec room in the basement was well used by all! The property itself is quiet and beautiful. A short drive to South Haven and the beach was easily managed. We’re seriously thinking about renting next year. A wonderful time was had by all 8 of us.

We had a wonderful vacation at this property with extended family. The best part was the back yard and views of the trees, and we spent many hours on the porch. The owner was very responsive. We spent time in both South Haven and Saugatuck which were easy drives. Overall a great week!

First time Michiganers
This was our first trip to Michigan….it did not disappoint! We came to celebrate our nephews’s wedding in nearby South Haven which was just a short drive away. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! The home was just as described and more. It has everything you might need or want. We had 10 adults and 4 grandkids with plenty of room for all. Mike checked in on us shortly after arriving and was extremely nice in answering our questions. Thank you Mike for hosting our family. We definitely will be back as we fell in love with Michigan. Beautiful place for sure!

Family Gathering
After being apart for over a year, our family was able to gather at this home for a weekend. The house was a perfect spot. There were 4 small children and there was plenty of room for them to play…both inside and out. On the rainy day, we enjoyed the many games and toys in the basement. On the sunny day, we gathered on the screened in back porch. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to easily cook meals on site. Thanks for sharing your home.

Small things were bad but overall good. I am only writing negatives so all else was good. Some dishes dirty so had to wash everything just in case, Foosball table requires replacement or severe maintenance, musky smell upon entering. No BSD channel for watching local games...

Justin, I am so glad you and your friends enjoyed your stay, and appreciate our call that provided additional context around the comments above. There were a few coffee cups that the previous guests had not washed well; we will make sure that our housekeeping team reviews everything in the kitchen cabinets during each clean going forward. The foosball table has been replaced. We turned on the dehumidifier for the season, as it had been wet outside right before you arrived. The house has Dish TV service which includes many national and conference sports channels. Look forward to hosting you again.

Perfect for Us
This house was absolutely wonderful. It's set on a large, quiet and beautiful piece of land just far enough from the busy day to day but close enough to all the modern conveniences. We celebrated two milestone birthdays within the family and had grandparents there too. Very nice family get together. The house is spacious and a great mix of modern and original character. The basement was fantastic for our three older kids and also for family games and movies. The screened in porches were great even in the winter cold with a hot cup of coffee. Loved the open floor plan of the kitchen and family room. The separate dining and living room was perfect. Lots of windows to enjoy the views. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again during a different season. A true beauty year round I am sure. We only had to contact the owner once and he was responsive and helpful. I love the fact that virtually everything was thought of, which made our stay just like being at home.

We have rented this same house twice. It is that nice! We all really enjoyed being together and having space to do different things at the same time. It is a beautiful house on beautiful property. Amazing holiday experience
My friends and I were all excited about going to the house, looks exactly like the photos. Clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is brand new with 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens. There are many pots and pans suitable for making food for a group of 8. Bedrooms are spacious with a ton of storage space. The outside area is beautiful. The basement’s game room is where we spent most of our time. I had an excellent communication with the host! Overall an amazing house, we will be booking again if we have the opportunity

Things don’t always go as planned…
I will be brief- we found this house because we were combining families with kids elementary school aged and up. This property was a great size, clean and had several areas for groups to gather. The weather was less than ideal and the first morning we lost power. I reached out to the owner and he responded right away to help us navigate our options and to make sure we we kept informed and comfortable. He offered another property nearby and we moved over. He met us there and made sure we were set up. He went far and above in an unexpected set of circumstances. The properties were both great. We didn’t have time to explore the area but that was secondary to our purpose there. Our family had a great time and we call this memory making! I would absolutely recommend the property and the owners involvement in this situation was so helpful. Thank you, Mike!

Cozy Thanksgiving Weekend
The house is so cozy and very spacious. The kitchen was perfect for our big Thanksgiving dinner we prepared - double ovens, plenty of counter space, fully stocked cabinets with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the game boards in the house but the game room downstairs was a cool bonus. So much space - bigger than the picture shows. The views from the home are beautiful - spotted some deer a few times! The owner was nice and easy to get a hold of when we needed him. I’m looking forward to coming back to the house in the summer so we can enjoy the outdoors more.

Week away
We stayed at this location for a week with a family of six adults and three dogs. The property worked out well for our needs. It is within four miles of the KalHaven rail trail which is wonderful. South Haven can be accessed by the trail via bicycle or driven and Saugatuck is also a short drive away.

We enjoyed having much room for the eleven of us! The grandchildren enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table.They we’re looking forward to spending time at the stream and fire pit but the mosquitoes didn’t make it possible. A wonderful kitchen which we used a lot. Great house!!!

Great week with family
We travelled to Pullman with our whole family. Our grandkids range in age from 1 year to 16. All had a great time. There are so many things to do within the house - ping pong, pool, board games and cards. There is a tennis court, basketball hoop and fire pit to enjoy outdoors. The property is secluded and can be enjoyed without concern for others. We made many day trips to South Haven and St. Joe. but we prepared meals in the kitchen and on the grill. The property is clean, well equipped and well maintained. We highly recommend a stay.

Secluded Home With Great Features
This was a great house on wooded property. It has an amazing basement area with a pool table, fusball, and ping pong for young and older guests. The house and property is impressive with wonderful views, fine detailed workmanship, and top level appliances. Mike, the host, was very responsive to any questions we had. Remember to bring insect repellent as the house is in a secluded, wooded area. If you wish to be close to South Haven but away from all of the hustle and bustle, this house is for you,
