The employees were notified the day we arrived that as of today the resort was closed, we witnessed many angry people, today police showed up and some people had not even been notified and we’re going to have to find another place, only one restaurant and one bar open the whole time, a bunch of angry and sad employees, I understand this is not your fault but I want to be refunded

Fue una experiencia horrible Duraron más de 2 horas para hacernos check in ,no obstante nuestra estadía era de 4 días y la muchacha del frente nos preguntó si vivíamos en el país o si éramos extranjeros; le dije que vivimos aquí por que somos dominicanos y tenemos familia aquí pero vivimos en Miami y en ese momento nos dijo que nuestra estadía tenía que ser de 3 días no 4 días ;nos dieron una habitación que no habíamos elegido y cuando fuimos a reclamar nos dieron otra habitación cuando estábamos camino al cuarto ,no tenía ascensor y era un 4to piso ,no tenía luz ,la cama estaba desarreglada cómo si alguien más la usó ,el jacuzzi estaba roto y lleno de moo ,lamas verdes por todos lados y también tenía una tabla boca arriba cómo con 6 clavos que es un peligro, bajamos a recepción otra vez y el muchacho nos dijo que definitivamente el jacuzzi no iba a funcionar. El servicio estuvo horrible y la atención peor

The hotel was very nice and beautiful as well as our room. We didn’t see any activities or variety of food. The food that was there was not the greatest and neither were the drinks. But the people were very nice and professional. Beautiful hotel but after a few days you will get bored it was nice to get out the hotel and see and eat around. Also that water in the beach was beautiful but it was a little unkept with the trash in the sand

This hotel was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a resort first they stole 100 dollars from my room after I reported it all the stay gave me attitude and ignored my room service order, my pent house had a horrible looking jacuzzi and cleaning guy walked right into the room to clean while my partner and I were getting intimate and proceeded to clean the patio area after he knew we were there. There are no resort activities, restaurants are not all open and the gym had no AC. The manager pretended to be concerned but I wouldn’t be surprised if she was in on them stealing my money

During my stay I was told all these activities and restaurants would be available and that was not true I paid for a room with a hot tub to find out they don’t even work and the room I was assigned was nasty and dirty they changed my room to another room that had bugs we got ate up in our sleep.

Overall stay was good. Previous complains about other attendies were not an issue this time. Everyone was friendly, good food and we felt welcomed. Big problem is they allow a there staff to lure you to go to another hotel and theres a salesman at blue beach that gets you the transportation. The offer is try out this new place for free. Nothing is free. 4hr presentation at grand bavaro princess is an abuse they use pressure sales tactics and overall package is around 21k USD yes 21000 to become a Royal Holiday vacation member. If you google it its terrible it a scam! They want 4k down payment and 255 a month for 60mo then you own the membership for 30 years. But online it says people cant book what they want because they give you 20k yearly points which is not enough for the good hotels..this salesman is there on site from thurs-sunday. The travel agency i used has picked up countless people at grand bavaro leaving because one they are members and cant get a room or 2 they been lured to visit grand Bavaro princess and its sales scam. My visit would of been perfect but this was over 4 hours of pressure sale that didnt work for them or my family. Be careful as they do it everywhere including cancun.

Nice resort. Restaurants are closed on the weekends. Food is the same every night. Resort is clean, the drinks are ok. The pool is nice at night and close to the beach. No clubs but a lot of activities that you must pay for. No shows either. The snack bar closes at 11pm. The rooms are nice and spacious. We got bored and stayed at the beach. You must leave the hotel to party.
