I rarely leave reviews, but I want to warn others before booking. The photos do not reflect the actual condition of the studio, and this is not a beach property. We arrived around 11:00 PM due to flight and customs delays. Although the listing states the office is open until 11:00 PM, no one was available and the studio was left unlocked.
We were later informed a cash electricity deposit was required ($10 per unit, three total), which was not disclosed in the Expedia listing. I contacted Expedia before arrival and on check-in day but received no help.
The bathroom was unusable due to a broken shower head, clogged drain, and broken toilet handle. There were insufficient towels, some were dirty, no washcloths, and the sofa bed does not pull out.
The next morning, we were forced to report to the office at 10:00 AM despite explaining we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and had an 8:20 AM excursion pickup. The property manager was rude, dismissive, and inflexible. The office opened late, causing us to miss half our excursion, lose included transportation, and pay $40 for a taxi. I also paid over $40 in electricity for a two-night stay despite minimal use.
Misleading listing, poor communication, rude management, maintenance issues, hidden fees, and no support from Expedia. I recommend reconsidering before booking.
