Niemand voelt zich verantwoordelijk als er een probleem moet worden opgelost. Je wordt van het kastje naar de muur gestuurd. Geprobeerd te bellen, 10 x doorverbonden en alsnog niemand die je fatsoenlijk te woord staat. Echt een no go dit hotel.

First of all the only thing we liked was the staff service. Specially Sr. Bolivar Rivas (driver). This person is at your service and problem solving that makes you feel protected. Super Professional and Respectful and a great Human. Another staff is Sr. Jose Nunez waiter (captain) he runs a ship with such a smooth sailing and great human. And finally SR. Adrian Jimenez waiter at the Level Melia beach snack restaurant. He is amazing on remembering your drinks and constantly offering his service.

The staff was great and the property was beautiful. It's been almost a year and my son is still raving about our time here. We will be back this year for sure. The food was good, the peacocks walking around were just beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place.

I thought the food was very good. I did not like how far the beach was from our room. The website never mentioned some restaurants have a fee. The bar choices at night cost more. The time share program called our room twice early AM to try to scam us into a breakfast to sell. Met some really nice people and had some great food, but defintely not a choice for me in the future.

The staff at "The Level at Melia" was awesome... very attentive and friendly. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy at all times. The Level allows you access to all parts of the property, which is an added bonus. I know a few people who didn't upgrade to "The Level", and they were not happy with the service they received on their side. They were also limited to certain areas of the property.

My family’s recent stay at The Level at Melia Caribe Beach was absolutely terrible. I feel that the experience was consistently poor on almost every level you can measure. Outdated, poorly maintained suites (holes in the wall, broken washing machines with repeated broken promises to fix), dirty pools with broken filters, rusty shower heads and cracked tiles. Spotty service (decent when you could find people, but frequent issues wasted time and frustrated, like nobody directing us to the proper lobby at check-in, lies about maintenance, lies from staff at checkout that I’d be contacted RE these issues I reported). Inconsistent food quality and service. Beach overrun with seaweed (partly just nature, but some hotels nearby kept their beaches much cleaner). The biggest issue that made our experience a bad one was a serious injury to my wife’s ankle. We were leaving our 3rd floor hotel room on the evening of Aug 1. We were going down the stairs of the building and it was ABSOLUTELY PITCH DARK...no lights in the building at all. In the darkness, my wife badly turned her ankle on the stairs and was in a lot of pain. A few minutes later, all the lights came on. Clearly, the timers were set too late, which is unacceptable. After that, the remainder of our trip was very difficult, as my wife had trouble walking and was in pain. Also, when I reported this issue, the handling of the situation was very poor, including misinformation and unavailability of guest services staff.

It was a beautiful resort. My family really enjoyed the water park. There were some water fountains at the entrance under repair but I’m sure they are beautiful when turned on. The pools were excellent and all areas I saw were well kept. The property is very large and we had to go around in golf carts but we always had a ride from our super attentive butler, Ernesto G.

I have been a guest of the Melia property in Punta Cana several times. This time my family decided to stay at the level, and boy was it a great decision. The private pool, beach, restaurant access was the best. The property is clean, staff is wonderful and NOT crowded with people. I enjoyed the private-reserve aspects of the resort. We will definitely be back!

We decided to stay at the level in hopes to get quality. But the reception to check in was very slow and that was already a slight damper, but not big enough to make a fuss about. Throughout the stay we’ve tried multiple restaurants, but quality was unacceptable. The food were accompanied by an uncannie amount of flies. The cleaniness was one of the biggest concern, for example we arrived seeing spilled fries on the hallway by room, throughout the duration of our 4 days stay it was never cleaned up. The cleaniness throughout the resort was in similar status. By our last full day we were exhausted from the poor quality, at that point we received a call advising they would like to take us to breakfast at a different location and it’s a special breakfast, so we thought why not. After multiple waiting and people dropping us off with other people, without any other infor but we will be getting food, by this time my rowdy 3 year and me being 8 month pregnant have already started losing patience as we’ve been waiting for our “breakfast” for over an hr. Then a woman shows up to finally walk us to the restaurant letting us know she will be eating with us to give us a sales pitch, and we are REQUIRED to take a 90min walking tour after the breakfast. My immediate response was NO. They said then you will need to leave and cannot stay for breakfast. At this point I was furious after all the waiting and nearly fainting and a crying 3yr begging for food, and hijack from our vacation.

Everything was great except some staff had a hard time communicating things to us. Even speaking in Spanish.
