Secluded Family Cabin in the Woods, on Put-in-Bay!

Quiet Secluded Cabin in the woods perfect for family or friends to gather and relax together. Very large private backyard area, with space large enough to turn around a boat on large trailer. Close to the state park for boat launching, or playgrounds for the kids.

Three bedrooms, two with king size tempur-pedic beds, and one with a full, and a large loft area with a futon that has a private 2nd story screened in porch. First floor has two more screened porches on the front and back. Full kitchen with all utensils and cookware needed. TV in the living room with video games and DVDs for entertainment.

Outdoor patio space with dining area, propane grill, and croquet. Crib, pack and play, and high chair available if needed.

PIB 50th birthday stay

A few friends from high school and my husband and I spent the weekend here to celebrate turning 50 this year. The house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We were very comfortable, there was plenty of space, and we really enjoyed the patio and fire pit outside. The screened porches were very nice for relaxing and chatting without being swarmed by the mayflies. The owner was very nice and communication was great. It was secluded and quiet, set a bit away from all the action, yet still close to everything. We felt very safe there. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this property!

Great Property in the Woods

Great property central to enjoying everything in PIB. Host was communicative throughout stay, check in was simple. Property was quiet and relaxing. The neighbors were quite loud until 5am on Saturday, but that's been hit or miss everywhere on the island. It was nice to have 2 full bathes and to enjoy the porches and fire pit area. Property is far enough off the road to give you privacy. The listing was a little dated, and the futon that was in the loft is now in the living room area (less private for sleeping), so bring an air mattress if planning on sleeping in the loft area. We enjoyed our weekend and would return again. Thanks for the use of your space!

Amazing place

I stayed the weekend with my 3 adult kids they got there first and couldn't wait to tell me how awesome it was. When you can impress your kids you know you chose the right property. The house had everything inside and out. I hope to rent this again for a longer period of time to really enjoy it. Thanks to the owners for a first class experiance.

Cozy!!

Plenty roomy for our group of 6. The house could def use some cleaning on the outside, the weeds and the yard were kind of out of control. The inside was very clean and we loved all the little extras, alcohol for cocktails, bug spray and spf, essentials in the medicine cabinets in the bathroom. Kitchen cabinets were very well stocked with the usual items and even extras which we really appreciated. We loved how cozy the house was and how it was tucked back in the beautiful trees. Having the porches netted in is so nice. We sat on the front porch every evening and weren’t getting ate up by mosquitoes. Thank you for sharing this home!

Mouse droppings

At first the house seemed OK. The property was messy with weeds. It was well stocked, I liked that. But there was a smell to the house, we soon discovered why when we pulled out the couch bed!! We were appalled! It was infested with mouse droppings, the corners and baseboards in most of the rooms were thick with droppings and the worst urine smell was by the DVD side of the living room! The beds were really not comfortable, for my wife, she had trouble even turning over! And I had to crawl out the end of the bed because it was so close to the wall. These things can be easily fixed! It should never have gotten to this state! Like I said, it was a well stocked and accommodated the lot of us,, everyone of the others traded bedrooms to find what was comfy for them, my wife and I didn't have that option as she couldn't climb stairs easily. So many things needed fixed! The HVAC was super noisy for the 2 downstairs bedrooms. Chair at the desk was rickety and has sharp edges on the lean back. Loose doornobs, ill fighting doors, broken patio chair, black latch on the bathroom door should not even be on the door. Should have safety bars in the tub area. The whole screen door on the back porch was so loose! Thick cobwebs in the laundry closet. We are, after all is said and done, disappointed. It could have been and should have been a great experience.

Nice place with plenty os space.

We really like the place it was very nice inside and had plenty of space and places to sleep. It also had very nice porch space in multiple locations of the house. It was just far enough away from town that you felt like you had a lot of privacy. My only complaint was a Barking dog somewhere nearby. It was an easy golf cart drive away from Put In Bay.

Secluded but close to town

The location of this property was perfect. It was about a half a mile from town. We were able to ride our bikes around the island and ride bikes to many of the businesses downtown.The property comfortably slept six people. The kitchen was huge and well stocked. It had three screened porches which were really nice at night when the mosquitoes were out. It also had a nice patio to lay in the sun or sit under the umbrella table.
