'The Elm City Hotel is a great value in Keene. Rooms are modern and clean with very comfortable beds and nice amenities. The breakfast on Sunday was great, and it was "okay" on Monday. Sunday's breakfast included real eggs and sausage, while Monday's breakfast was egg product patties and dried-up frozen sausage. Still, decent breakfast offerings at this price point. The staff is very kind and helpful. I'll definitely stay again when I'm in the area.'

'The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

'I work hard and needed the perfect relaxing place. We booked a night while we were passing through town and it was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a Vermont establishment. The beer was great, the meatballs were literally amazing. At first I felt the price of the pizza was a bit high but after eating it I had zero regrets, worth it. Our room was above the bar and provided ear buds. We wouldn’t need them on this night because we may have been the only guests....

'I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!'

'Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location.'

'Het hotel ligt in een prachtig en verlaten gebied. Dichtsbijzijnde restaurant is met de auto 15 min. Gastvrijheid en de verzorging zijn fantastisch. Kamer en badkamer waren op de 1e etage en zeer schoon. Ivm voorbereidingen voor een bruiloft was de bar dicht. Het ontbijt was super. Janny'

'This property is dated but was very comfortable for our 4 day stay. Everything in our room was in good working order. The breakfast was good too. The on site restaurant closed too early which was disappointing . The staff was helpful and kind good people work there!!'
