'My brother and I got my parents the Easter long weekend up here for their Christmas present and they just came home raving about how amazing it was. The room was well stocked, the staff were lovely, the views were beautiful (my dad described being able to see the moon rise as the sun set because they could see all the way to the horizon). My parents are very well travelled people, but my mum sent me a text telling me it was possibly the best place they’ve ever stayed. Thank you to the lovey team...

'Just what we wanted. Slow days, sunshine and no distractions. Time to do word puzzles, paint pictures, press flowers, cook pancakes and talk. I enjoyed these precious few days with my three kids. And the delightful setting made it all the more special. Thanks to Kate and Simon for sharing your beautiful property with us. The dogs made quite an impression on the kids too!'

'The overall assessment is great. There were some frustrating disappointments; 1 bbq dirty on arrival , we cleaned it twice 2. Tv very frustrating, could not watch Netflix or Stan 3 only one small soap in bathroom 4 internet slow or cutout 5 no coffee plunger, pod machine great but only a few pods. We brought ground coffee but no plunger there’s a dripalater which belongs in the 1970s 6 To teapots but no looseleaf tea Apart from these small things the place is really great'

'We have stayed in many place in Clunes - this little cottage would definitely top them all. Absolutely loved it. Sunny, private, relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Delighted to be amongst the Vines. 5 minute drive to the centre of Clunes and 20 minutes to Creswick. Everything was supplied. Very thoughtful and accommodating Owners. Will definately be booking it again.'

'Beautiful unique little cottage. Perfect getaway for a couple looking to relax and rejuvenate. Only downside was that Clunes was essentially closed. Only 1 cafe open the first three days we were there. And nothing open for dinner anytime. '
