"We stayed for 3 nights in May , we had a nice relaxing few days.. park has a lot of facilities.. which you need a pass to use, also need a pass for use of the restaurants which we didn’t realise, but we cooked as plenty of equipment in the kitchen. Would return for another short break"

"The lodge has a lovely aspect, with uninterrupted views over the lake, it is extremely well equipped catering for all your needs. Unfortunately the information folder was missing so we had to contact the owner to get the WiFi code. The owner’s put in an awful lot of effort into the presentation of the lodge and even decorating it for Easter, much appreciated. "Very quiet and low lit area - perfect for stargazing. No WiFi so the kids stayed off their devices and enjoyed watching the chickens roam around freely. My little boy even got to help feed some which he thought was brilliant. Mary and her husband are top class hosts! Would definitely recomendthis place to anyone who wants a quiet rural getaway. "
