Friend Trip
Nice location. About 20 minutes from closest town. Quiet. Beautiful property. Nice size house and 4 beds for 4 adults. Helpful owner. Maps instructions were wrong, called Owner and she assisted. Our first time with VRBO and we will do it again. Great experience. Great Vacation!

Loved this stay. The place was clean, exactly like the photos. Kitchen was adequately stuffed . The hostess was nice and friendly, she accommodated our schedule. The only thing to take into account is this place is far from the city centre. I would highly recommend this place

This is a great place to come for a vacation. If you want to get away from everything. It is a little far out of town somewhere around 25 to 30 minutes out. But it is a great place beautiful views. And very quiet. I would most definitely stay again.

Peaceful stay
The property was exactly as shown in the posting. This bright suite is very peaceful with a full kitchen, spacious living area, comfortable beds and a whirlpool bathtub. Lots of natural light with large buried overlooking the trees. Perfect for a relaxing stay or time spent with family and friends. Set apart from the more touristy area, the drive to the beach and highway did not seem long at all. Our host Valerie was respectful of our privacy but was available if we needed her.

Things needed
The home could use another couch or a couple recliners, as there is only 1 couch. Could also use a BBQ, some big knives that are sharp. One of the rooms could really use a king size bed the queens are just too small. Otherwise if that was all changed i would stay there again for sure. Very quiet.

Clean family suite
Suite is super clean with plenty of room for a family or two. Three bedrooms with comfy beds, full kitchen, dining and living room. Super spacious bathroom with a huge soaker tub that my grandson dubbed a ‘pool’. Outdoor space where you can dine or enjoy the area views (No ocean view) A bit of a drive from town but small local store nearby if you need milk or snacks. Owner right next door and super responsive if needed. We had a relaxing stay and had everything we needed.

Amazing house
A lovely house in a very nice and quiet location. The house was very clean, spacious and well decorated. We had everything we needed. It was conveniently located for the places we wanted to visit. The recommendations from the owner were very good. The kids loved the mini golf and the Splash park in Parksville. We also visited Coombs, Horne Lake caves and Englishman river Falls. It was nice to be so close to the Little Qualicum Falls, we could even go to swim. A very lovely place

The place was absolutely beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. Did not see the ocean view that was boasted in the ad, the biggest downfall was the drive. The place was 30 minutes from anything, after a long drive all day it was exhausting that we had to all get back in the car and drive around for anther 45 minutes to get food

What a great place to stay!
The home is in a quiet area with the most amazing view of the night sky. We saw deer and rabbits in the yard and heard the birds in the surrounding woods. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is big. At the end of a busy day it's so easy to settle in and relax there, either watching a movie in the living room or lounging on the patio watching the stars. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful with info about the home and on what to do in the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely wee mountainside retreat!
My wife, 9yo son and I stayed at this VRBO first week of July 2023, and had a tremendous time! The bedrooms were perfect, just what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and pretty. We also appreciated the free streaming (Prime & Netflix) after long adventurous day outings! Only reasons 4 stars not 5: No laundry and no air conditioning - But even without these i would definitely highly recommend this VRBO on Van Isle!! - Al

Family Vacation
Overall exactly what we expected. Room and space for everyone. It's a little out of the way 20min from town but easy to find. Came with a few nice touches, coffee, tea, seran wrap, ziplock bags...so nice Would have loved a BBQ, a cookie sheet, hand soap in the kitchen and a spatula. Wil we come back? Yes! Kids loved the bathroom hot tub! All three in the tub at the same time, amazing.

Mountain Retreat
If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat away from the maddening world, this is the place. Extremely quiet at night and wake to the birds singing. One bath for 4 women takes some planning but we did it. Thanks so much.

A good stay with bumps !
The house is clean and the pictures give a true represenation of the situation. Although a washing machine/dryer is mentionend in the description there is a extra charge of 10$ for it. Cameron Lake and Mac Millan Prov. Park are indeed only a few kilometres away (maybe if you walk), but the house is in a gated community and you need in fact 35 km to Cameron lake by car. We did enjoy the stay and recommend the house, but there is something to do around the basics. BTW: If the tenant lives nearby please say hello to the guests - It is Canada (said by people from Germany).

Great little place up on the hill
Very clean. Pictures matched what place was. A little bit of a drive from qualicum beach area but worth it to get away from the “city” feel! So quiet! Host easy to get ahold of. Lots of dishes / pots and pans etc Could use with some basic supplies like Saran Wrap and little plastic baggies but did have tin foil. Even saw a beautiful deer in the back yard! Would come back

Excellent property and host
We (2 adults) stayed with our dog and everything about the property was as described, easy to access and clean. The big tub was a nice touch. There was coffee, tea and sugar there, which was nice as we only stayed 2 nights and didn’t need to buy our own. Would 100% recommend.

Lovely place to stay
We rented this home for 2 of our contractors while they were working for our company. The home was everything it was advertised to be, it was very clean and comfortable. Valerie was very good with communication before the stay and during the week letting the guys know when there was a wind storm and that the power was off and again informing them when it was back in etc. if your looking for a place that is quiet and comfortable you will not be disappointed in this home.

Rural mountain property
This rural home has a nice view over the treetops with glimpses of the ocean in the distance. Check-in was easy and contactless.. The door in has a tricky electronic lock that can be frustrating. The property is secure being totally fenced and gated, so great for your pup. The gate needs a wheel as it is quite cumbersome. This property has a wonderfully equipped kitchen with anything you might need for cooking your own meal. No barbeque so take your own if you want one. The bathroom is like it's own retreat with a lovely jetted soaker tub to relax in at the end of a busy day. The one issue we had was with the proximity to Qualicum Beach and other areas. Although it was quite close to Coombs, Spider Lake, Horne Lake Caves and the Inland Highway, there was no close access to the highway. In order to go to these destinations. You have to go all the was in to Qualicum Beach (20 min.) and go through town to get to the Inland Highway. Bonus was the very close back entrance to Little Qualicum Falls which provided a nice hike. If you want peace and quiet with a treetop view you will enjoy your stay here.

Excellent stay
Beautiful and spacious house. Great hosts who we haven't seen but who were always in touch with us when we needed them. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside watching stars at night and drinking tea in the morning. I wish we could stay longer. The hosts were very generous to let us stay almost 20 minutes after the check out time because our teens took a long time to get ready. Thank you for this stay!

Great family stay
We had a great stay at this VRBO in Qualicum. It was well furnished and clean. We brought our kids and small dog and it worked well for our family. There were a few toys in the room with where the kids slept. The host was great at communication and was accommodating when we asked for things. It is a bit removed from the town so keep that in mind when booking. It is right near the back entrance to Little Qualicum Falls so there is a very nice trail network nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is a bit of a drive from Qualicum Beach so you have to have all of your groceries otherwise it’s a bit of a drive to town. The host was very kind and lovely. We will definitely come back again!
