'The host at the Peppercorn is wonderful. Very attentive and lovely to engage in conversation. A wealth of knowledge on the area, things to see and do, and history in abundance The room was immaculate and had direct access to the beautiful pool, Bar, and Dining Lounge. The food was a surprise and the portions were excellent. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We were only there the one night as we were passing through on a major drive from the bottom end to the top end of Australia...

'This was a huge surprise. I just wanted somewhere nice to stay in Isa, but the room exceeded expectations. The bed was just awesome - great pillows & comfy doona. The bathroom was also good, but the shower head is way too low (and I'm not that tall). The only other issue was a regular thump/crack every half hour or so which I assume was something with the pipes - annoying but hard to rectify.'
