The Space:
Welcome to our Talquin Time, a 4 bedroom 4 bath home with beautiful views of Lake Taquin on the Quincy, FL side of the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise from the sunroom, the large deck attached to the living space, or from the spacious dock over the water!

This home has a fully equipped kitchen, including a full appliance package, electric double oven, gas range/oven, and wine cooler available.

The main area includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a king size master bedroom with TV and a large en-suite with a double vanity and a walk-in shower on the main level of the home. Additional spaces on the floor include the kitchen, additional full bath, laundry room, and large living/dining space with a 4K 65 inch flat screen mounted above the gas fireplace. There are also two large sunrooms with a pool table, extra TV for watching while playing pool, and a desk/office area. The pool area opens to a deck looking out over the lake with an outdoor dining table for 8 and adirondack chairs for relaxing in the lake air.

The top floor of the home includes two bedrooms, one with two sets of full size bunk beds. In the other bedroom there is another king size bed. One full bath separates the two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have access to a shared balcony with a sitting area.

The 4th bedroom and 4th bathroom are on a lower level with it's own entrance. It's a 1 bedroom 1 bath space with a queen size bedroom with a large walk-in closet, and desk. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, a 4K TV, access to the private deck, and a great view of the water. The dining area also can access the deck and you can eat watching the lake. The private deck has outdoor seating and a table for two. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, electric range/oven, microwave, and sink.

This home is equipped with high speed wireless internet and the TVs are set up for you to enjoy all of your favorite streaming services.

Talquin Time sits on over half an acre with ample space to park your cars and boats on the road-facing side of the home. We provide a gas grill for you to enjoy for your favorite grilled meals during your stay. Bring your boat and fishing gear and prepare to have fun reeling in a wide variety of Florida’s freshwater fish, including bass, speckled perch, and brim. Our dock and boat house are spacious with dimensions stated below. We also offer a lakeside fire pit for use on cool nights.

Boathouse internal clearance: 11 foot wide by 27 feet 10 inches long under roof. Waterline has 8 feet 10 inches of clearance (currently, depending on water level).

Main dock: 24 feet 5 inches wide by 21 feet 9 inches with additional length of walkway decking.

The lower space is now included for bookings made on or after Oct 27, 2022.

The closest boat landing is Ingram’s Marina, which is a short 3 minute drive from the house. Other local landings are nearby. Enjoy dinner at Country Boy’s Seafood which is only 2 minutes away or Crow’s Corner which is about a 9 minute drive. The city of Quincy offers additional dining and grocery options, including Winn Dixie and Walmart.
