Pineapple Blues .... Big Bang for your Buck

Dit eiland wordt gehuurd door een Airbnb Super Host en heeft alle voorzieningen van een full-size verhuur. Deze nieuwe aanbieding is voorzien van een queensize bed in de slaapkamer. De badkamer kan functioneren als een ensuite of gastbadkamer. Het heeft een volledige inloopdouche en toilet in een privégedeelte met een dubbele wastafel net buiten voor privacy. De woonkamer heeft een bank en stoel om op te hangen plus een zitbank en een tafel om binnen te eten. Grote apparaten en wasgoed. Het dek heeft buiten eten plus zitplaatsen voor uitzicht op de zonsondergang en het happy hour. Satelliet-tv, dvd-speler met dvd's en toegang tot wifi is beschikbaar.

Dit huisje ligt op loopafstand van restaurant Rainbow Bay, dus uit eten gaan, rondhangen tijdens een pizza-avond of genieten van een happy hour is slechts een paar minuten verwijderd. Een langere wandeling brengt u naar Smugglers Beach en Rainbow Bay Beach. Dit huis is perfect voor een paren wegkomen, jubileumreizen, huwelijksreis etc. Een klein gezin kan ervoor kiezen om een klein kind op de bank te laten slapen.

The full kitchen and washer and dryer were both key for us. We have particular dietary needs so being able to cook our own meals is really important. That said, some new pots and pans would be nice—scratched nonstick coating is bad for your health. We were in Eleuthera to work on our boat and the ability to launder our towels and rags was very handy and saved a lot of money and time when compared to going to the laundromat. Bring TP! We weren’t thrilled with the bed—mattress was uncomfortable and pillows very flat. The furniture was adequate but not great—bed and dresser but no bedside tables, couch and chair but no end tables or coffee table. Also, we’d have LOVED being able to see the sunset over the water. The trees in the yard need topped in order to allow a view of the water. That would be a huge attraction for this property, especially with the spacious porch. What a great place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset! The driveway is VERY steep and bumpy, though our rental made it up (an old POS Nissan Cube). Note: do NOT drive up Signal Lane as a shortcut from Queen’s Hwy!! That “road” should be blocked off. We bottomed out going up that thing. Follow the directions given. (Signal Light Rd is fine, tho). There is a wonderful book collection available. Lol, someone has reading taste similar to mine—Laurell Hamilton, Twilight series, etc. We would return to this property. It is spacious and central, much to do no matter which direction you take on the island.

Mu husband and I had such a wonderful stay in Eleuthera! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The location was perfect—close to beautiful beaches and local spots, yet quiet enough to really unwind. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Eleuthera!

House is very nice, perfect for two people. Mini split cools the house, laundry on site is a plus. They made it very easy for me to extend a few days and kept in touch the entire trip. The driveway is steep, and rocky but overall it was very nice and they were very accommodating to our needs! Thank you!!

Great value in Rainbow

Stayed here to be close to my parents’ rental just one house over (Sweet Merlot). Plenty of space for me and would be perfect for a couple. Nice porch views. AC worked well. Showers hot water heated quickly. Large book selection. Driveway entry is a little steep/ rough but not out of the ordinary for Eleuthera. Would book again.

Charming home, well equipped kitchen, reliable wifi, nice book selection, good hot water. The only change I’d recommend is a comfortable mattress. The bed and box springs also squeaked every time we moved in the bed. Oh, some fluffy pillows would be nice. Everything else was wonderful.

Perfect for our first stay on Eleuthera

It's not possible to find a better place for a better price. Location is perfect...close enough to stores and beaches to the north/south. It was so quiet, we loved it. The one thing I would say is if you have a bad back you may want to consider a different option as the bed wasn't very comfy. I have a back disease and it sags quite a bit so didn't sleep much.

3 Weeks of R&R

Being that we had stayed @ this property 4 years ago there were no surprises. Great location, but if you are staying here, you need to have a car. The Rainbow Bay area is quiet! If you're looking for a party scene this is not the place for you. There is one restaurant/bar, The Sunset Cove & Rainbow Room (Previously The Rainbow Bay Inn) that is in walking distance. They have a great menu and are known for their pizza. However, the journey for groceries is not so convenient.

Home Away From Home

This was our 4th stay at Pineapple Blues, obviously we love it very much…It’s a lovely private setting, house has everything you need make all your meals if you are like us and enjoy eating in…it’s a great central location…We don’t feel any upgrades are needed to be done as other reviewers have said, it’s perfect just as it is, the deck is lovely to sit and watch the sunset and it’s always spotlessly clean when we check in… Thank you to the really great caretakers of this house, they always responded very quickly with any questions we had…

Heaven on Earth

Our stay in Eleuthera was heaven on earth, and Pineapple Blues was the perfect place to stay. The location was very central to the island and allowed for easy travel. The house had everything we needed and was very clean upon arrival. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. We will definitely stay again!!

The inside of this house is nice and very spacious. The outside however needs a lot of attention in our humble opinions. The pictures in listing are not current. The vegetation outside is overgrown and blocks any hope of having a view. Can’t see water from the porch. The grass/weeds were also tall and there’s sand spurs which hurt to step on even with shoes. A good weed eating and grass cutting and general landscaping is in need. The backyard is super big and has so much potential but once again is nothing but overgrown weeds and not a sight to look out while cooking and working in the kitchen. I’d recommend a back patio with a nice grilling area.
