'Very good service, good breakfast'

'The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.'

The area around the pool looks worn out, with several damaged and faded awnings that need urgent replacement. The rooms also show clear signs of neglect — walls and furniture are starting to look tired and outdated. 'No towel service, people could not enter the pool because hand rails to low, tv service was terrible, asked cleaning lady for towels she never brought them, nobody ever came around to see if everything is okay, so we left after two nights and had to book a hotel elsewhere, is it possible to get a refund for the three nights we didn’t stay'
