He was friendly, clear and concise in his communication, and provided too many thoughtful details to mention. We would stay again! It was very welcoming and comfortable with every detail taken care of -- down to having fresh, cold water in the dog bowl ready for us when we arrived. The property is in pristine condition, incredibly well maintained, and in a perfect location for accessing the greater Raleigh area. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again when our travels take us to Raleigh. If we could give 20 stars for the review we would!

Beautiful home, thoughtfully decorated and organized. Clean and cozy with a fenced in yard for my pup. Our family stopped in Raleigh to have an overnight and pick up a cousin from the airport on our way to the beach and this home was the perfect spot to rest and recharge. Eric, our host, was amazing. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Thus is an impeccable property. Eric was accomodating by turning on a few inside lamps since we were arriving late to check in. He has thought of everything as the detail to make the stay was greatly appreciated. Amazing property! We will return on our next trip to Raleigh.

Everything, from booking to checkout, was perfect. Eric, the owner, was very attentive & accommodating. The home was spotless, and beautifully & thoughtfully appointed (even had bedside white noise machines)! Had everything we needed, plus more. Eric was quick to response and considerate. We loved how he made sure everything was in order for our arrival. We impressed by the attention to detail. He stocked the kitchen with essentials. We had a fantastic time at this property! The house and the surrounding property were absolutely beautiful. It was fully equipped with all the essentials and more—towels, linens, cooking utensils, and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home.Our four-legged companion had an amazing time, especially with the spacious backyard and porch. We enjoyed taking a few walks around the peaceful neighborhood in the mornings and evenings. It's quiet, with plenty of sidewalks, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll.The only downside was the road directly behind the house. It can get a bit busy and loud at times, but if you're used to living in a suburban or metro area, it likely won’t be much of a bother.Overall, if you're in the area, I highly recommend this house for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

I would like to start by saying that Eric went advice and beyond to ensure that our stay was amazing. The home was very clean and he did not leave out a thing to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Raleigh. We have rented much larger homes for a lot more money that did not come close to how satisfied we were with this home. We will certainly be staying here when we come to Raleigh!!

Fantastic property! Amazingly well stocked. He went the extra mile and had snacks waiting for us when we arrived. One of our family members left something at the house. He contacted us immediately and waited for her to return to retrieve the item. Would definitely book this home again when in the Raleigh area! Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I spent ten days at this lovely home and couldn’t have been happier. Beautifully decorated, exceedingly clean and very comfortable furniture. Eric provided so many thoughtful extras we don’t normally find in our rentals. The backyard and porch were perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. The home is in a quiet walkable neighborhood and was very close to great places to hike, bike and eat. Having use of the garage and a keyless entry were quite convenient. Eric,your place is an absolute gem, thanks so much!

We came to town for a wedding and had an amazing stay. The host was great at communicating beforehand and even met us at the property when we arrived to walk us through and show us everything. It was extremely clean!

The Gateway Getaway was extremely clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. There were snacks as well as a stocked coffee area. The appliances were all modern and worked well. The furniture was very comfortable (including the beds). The backyard is securely fenced and great for dogs. I can tell that Eric takes great pride in the appearance of his property. Eric lives close by and is quick to respond to any communications. The suburban neighborhood appeared very safe and there are exterior front surveillance cameras and one inside the garage. Unfortunately the house backs up to a fairly loud and busy road with heavy semi-truck traffic. We needed ear plugs to sleep at night. Additionally, there is a street lamp on that road that shines brightly into the master bathroom. It is so bright that we had to put a rolled towel at the bottom of the closed bathroom door to keep the light in the master bedroom at a tolerable level. With these minor adjustments, we slept well every night.
